Many people have been wanting to know more about their abilities and what they are required to do here in the Far Shore. So, in conjunction with Bishamonten, the Heavens have seen fit to offer an open training session for everyone to participate in. Here you will be able to learn anything and everything about what you should be able to do and what is expected of you in your new positions.

Bishamon's temple is sweeping and gorgeous, having previously been home to hundreds of shinki. She has graciously offered to hold this training session and will be available to help anyone who needs it.



Equipment

Various kinds of mannequins and dummies have been provided for practice, as well as targets that are either stationary or move, depending on your will. Punching bags, jumping blocks, and a large pool area have also been provided for your use, so that you can find a tool for pretty much anything that you might need to practice. Plenty of practice weapons of various weights, sizes, and shapes are also available upon request from any of the many white-clad shinki that are also attending today.

God Training

Bishamon herself will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of you. It is also encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Shinki Training

Various shinki are available to help with shinki training, including Kazuma and all of Bishamon's shinki. Additionally, the white-clad shinki will be more than happy to train you on using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is also encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Refreshments

There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're even just taking a quick break to cool down. The Heavens want you to stay in good condition!

[After getting himself involved in a group of white-clad shinki and being dragged into a training session, Lavi finally managed to sneak away in time to get some refreshments.

And see Chikusa wrapping up the strawberries.

[A pause.]

You know, I'm sure you don't have to sneak around just to grab food from here.

I'm not sneaking...

[...A pause as he considers that he might be doing it on default before he just shrugs.]

I want to see if there's a limit.

[lostinshadows]

[Lavi looks somewhat amused.]

It's free food; don't think anyone will complain if you take as much as you'd like.

But they have to run out eventually...

[chikusa do not steal all the strawberries for fucks sake]

I'm sure they can replace it.

[Or not, but that's not really important.]

If they can't, then I don't know why they only offer such limited food for so many people.

[kokuyoyo]

I can at least understand why they choose the kind of foods they do.... Things that hydrate people...

...But it really is debatable if they have enough, considering the amount of shinki....

Well [Lavi smiles.] it's always good to find out.

[He picks up an apple and takes a bite out of it.]

[kokuyoyo]

I guess we will.

[And with that, he starts to fold up the napkin with its currently gotten hoard, prepared to tuck it into a bag he apparently brought with him. Who knows how many he's gotten by this point.]

....They should do this sort of thing more often... And not just for the food...

[lostinshadows]

[He chuckles.]

They should, but there's nothing we can actually do about it.

They want us to do their dirty work, but not provide regular training so that it's done well...

[Lavi grins, amused.]

I think they want us to do that on our own time.

[It's what he figures, anyway.]

And yet that just leaves them with no guarantee…. It’ll be their own fault if people decide not to bother with it.

That might've been something they haven't thought out completely yet.

Like a lot of things... They're not very reliable.

No one ever said they were.

In this kind of situation, they should be…. It’s just troublesome for everyone when they aren’t.

[A nod and Lavi looks around.]

But for them to schedule such a large training could be a good first step.

[kokuyoyo]

I guess we'll see if it becomes a trend.

[And maybe then he might ease up on his opinions of them. Maybe.]
