What: Jay meets God
When: June 16th
Where: Antheia's temple
Warnings: Will update as needed

To find the being Antheia (blessed be her name), said the angel, one must travel a great distance, following such landmarks (a river, a forest, a fall of stone) until one arrived at the edge of her temple grounds. The temple would be apparent, the angel had promised, but Jay hadn't set a single foot upon a single stone of her lands. Not yet.
He was going to meet God. This wasn't a journey that should be undertaken lightly.
There were no guards (that he could see), no throngs of worshippers, no signs of life at all save for the insects humming in the shade and the birds calling from the treetops. Still, he could feel her presence, like a magnet in his chest drawing him forward.
He didn't approach. Instead he knelt, right at the very edge of the brilliant pink moss, head bowed... and he waited.

With her parasol and a basket holding her rabbit, Tot was out for a walk. The colors and flowers reminded her of home, and she was still practicing making wreaths and crowns, so it was good to have extra flowers around to use. There hadn't been any notice that someone would be coming by, but then communication didn't seem to be a strong point of those in charge.
At first, Tot didn't really notice him. People sometimes came by to leave requests or items for her. Which was fun, but kind of weird. She approached him, though, just to make sure he was okay since he was doing that thing on the ground. Maybe he needed help? His purpose became clearer as she got closer to him.
The basket and parasol drop to the ground as she grabbed her head - whether or not he felt the pain of it, she reacted out of instinct.
Sorry, if the scream interrupted his prayers.

...well. Not anticipating that.
His whole body jerked and he fell forward, hands knotting into the soft pink moss at the edge of her temple grounds. He kept his head down, eye staring blindly at the fronds of frothy pink as his mind whirled with warnings in a dozen languages, languages he hadn't even known he'd known.
Don't look at God.
But what if she was... no, gods couldn't be injured, her cry was surely a cry of anger, not of pain. How had he offended her? What had he done wrong?
He clawed his way back to his original kneeling position, carefully replacing the dislodged moss bits as best he could, then -- head still bowed -- he folded his hands together over his heart again and closed his eye.
"I... I am Jay. I beg the privilege of serving you."

Seeing everything, she was almost positive she knows who he is (knows who he was? knew who he was?), but it was hard to tell from where she stood. Even if she did (does?) she wasn't going to turn him away. Someone decided they were supposed to work together just like with Ken, so she'd do her best.
She picked up her stuff and walked closer to him before saying anything. "Okay."

God is love whispered the angel's voice in his ear, and Jay shuddered.
"What do I call you?" His voice was barely audible.

There's no sign of any of that externally as she keeps the whole 'don't tell shinki anything about their past' at the front of her mind. In this case, it would be REALLY BAD.
"Tot. Or maybe Antheia, they said that was Tot's name now also."

Tot. That was it, that was what he'd been waiting for. He'd been a golem, a heavy plodding creature of clay, but the sound of her name, of her sweet chiming voice, had lifted him up. There was light in him now, light and purpose. How could he have been afraid of her? How could he have doubted?
There would never be room for doubt again. He exhaled slowly, allowing himself the pleasure of basking in her presence, and his tightly knotted hands relaxed, cradling his heart rather than guarding it.
"I am Tot's to command."
