Summary: Heaven is throwing a small party to view the sakura and let everyone relax.



After the absolute disaster that happened with handing out chocolates, the Heavens are tripping over themselves to make up for their inability to properly handle the situation. They are eager to make amends and assure everyone that they are hardworking individuals who want nothing more than to make everyone's stay here enjoyable or at least pleasant. To that end, they have invited all of the gods and shinki to a lovely flower viewing, since the sakura are in season.

And by 'invited', they mean 'mandatory', of course. You will accept their apology, whether you like it or not.

It's not all bad, though. The Heavens have provided various kimonos that can be worn, if you haven't brought your own, but you're not required to wear a kimono. They would, however, really like it if you did wear them. It's very traditionally Japanese, after all.

The party is taking place at night so that you can all hide your merrymaking from the Near Shore residents and also because the night sky is beautiful against the cherry blossoms. So try to at least enjoy yourselves while you're here.



Banquet

Every kind of food imaginable is available for your eating pleasure. On top of that, there are dozens of different kinds of desserts ready to be devoured as well. For the older crowd, booze has been provided and is being served by white-clad shinki bearing the golden chrysanthemum of Amaterasu. They are, however, refusing to serve alcohol to anyone who looks too young to drink, sorry guys.

Cherry Blossoms

The blossoms are absolutely gorgeous this year, and they are at the peak of their blooming right now. Nearly every single bud has bloomed and the pink petals are floating by everywhere you go. There is an ethereal light emanating from each of the trees, lighting up the area with a soft, pink light, yet it doesn't seem to be drowning out the brightness of the stars at all. It really is the most beautiful cherry blossom viewing anyone could ever hope for.

"Secret" Corner

Somehow, the Heavens have managed to make one small corner of the grotto into a completely secluded area. There is no marking or signs to indicate what this corner should be used for, but anyone entering it will suddenly realize that this is a place for lovers to meet privately. Only those that you enter the corner with will be able to notice your presence, and you will be unable to notice anyone else's presence as well. Enjoy yourselves, young ones!

Counselling

Off to the side, there is a tiny table set up with a small, nicely written sign that reads "Gentle Counselling". On the other side of the table is a sweetly smiling shinki who is willing to listen to your problems and answer any questions you might have. She is also here to help out any gods that are having a hard time dealing with knowing about how their shinki died and any shinki that is having trouble coming to terms with the fact that they are dead. Counselling will also gladly be offered to anyone who is still pissed off or upset in any way about what happened after White Day.

[ Gojyo's already gotten himself shitfaced, chilled for awhile, and now he's back for a much slower round 2. Which means his patience for creeps leering at him is approximately a third of what it usually should be. ]

Oi. Do I look like a girl? ...Fuck off.

[ He just wants to refill his glass with that tasty green stuff (it's really growing on him!) and then find a nice spot under one of the weird glowing trees to enjoy it. Just let the man get his drink, okay? ]

[Oh that's just precious, isn't it? He smirks and moves closer to him, reaching to take a glass of the green stuff before moving in closer.]

No. But I'll happily call you one, if you want.

[He moves to run his fingers through Gojyo's hair slowly, just at the tips.]

Ma'am.

[erogappa]

[ Oh what the fuuuuuu--!

Gojyo drops his glass. It shatters on the pavement spraying anise-scented liquor everywhere, but Gojyo doesn't even seem to notice. He's far more focused on getting the fuck away from the pervert who just felt up Gojyo's hair what the fuck. He's honestly too stunned to do anything other than shout: ]

Get th'fuck away from me, asshole!

[deniles]

Why? Wasn't your only issue that you weren't a woman?

[He smirks and moves in closer, kicking the broken glass out of his way as he bursts that personal bubble.]

And I'll tell you right now. A man like you? Just. My. Type.

[As Gojyo shouts, Niles fills his personal space with himself. Leaving almost no room.]

What the fuck...?

[ He's still backing up, although the crowd isn't going to allow him to do so for much longer. But what else can he do? He's not a girl, he can't slap a guy for flirting with him (not that he'd ever just slap anybody). He can't turn and run because that's giving in and then the guy wins. He can't play gay chicken and tease the guy back because there are some games where the only winning move really is just not to play.

Help? ]

Back off! I'm not into pushy guys!

[deniles]

See, you say pushy? I say interested.

[He smirks. The crowd is preventing the man from backing up very far. So they're in close quarters. And it looks like they aren't getting out any time soon to make Gojyo comfortable with the situation.]

And I'm very interested in getting close to a man like you.

[erogappa]

I don't give a shit what you're interested in!

[ This is just getting ridiculous. Maybe he can hit a guy for flirting with him after all. Because this? This is going beyond flirting. This is just downright creepy.

Gojyo really wishes he was wearing a shirt. And a coat. And maybe an umbrella -- anything to put some distance between his skin and the perv's oily smile. ]

I'm not a homo, so for the last time, back off.

[deniles]

Who says I am?

[But he leaves no room. No place that something can be put without him easily forcing it away. He keeps half a step away. If that.]

Why can't someone love both? And what would be the problem with loving men?

After all...

[His hand moves up and ghosts over Gojyo's arm before pulling away.]

A man knows what makes you feel better than a woman ever could.

[erogappa]

[ Nope. That's all he can take. ]

You fucking...!

[ And he swings a hard left for the pervert's nasty dirty grin. ]

[deniles]

[At first, when it lands, it knocks Niles's face away, forcing him to shut his eyes and rub his cheek.

But if Gojyo thought that was going to be enough, he was dead wrong. Niles moves to look right back at him with a smirk.]

Hit me again. I've never had someone so good at the foreplay.

[erogappa]

[ He was just about to follow that first punch up with a second one, too! His fist freezes in the air, then falls with disgust to his side. Dammit, Niles, why you gotta ruin everything. ]

You're not seriously enjoying this!

[deniles]

Oh, I enjoy it more when someone else is in pain.

[He smirks, looking at him.]

Like when a plan falls through. And they don't have a backup.

[erogappa]

You want to see my backup plan?

[ It's his knee. In Niles' face. New goal: an unconscious Niles is a Niles who can't make gross taunts! ]

[deniles]

[Oh that's so cute. Niles dealt with far worse. You're just a basic outlaw that he's destroyed time and time again.

He smirks when he's kneed in the face before he grabs Gojyo's ankle and pulls on it.]

Are you trying to get me aroused?

[He holds tightly onto that ankle, fingers crushing it slowly with an archer's grip.]

[erogappa]

[ Things are going so well for the second or so that it takes him to jump up and kick the pervert. But then the bastard grabs his leg (how did he even do that? How fast is this guy?!) and Gojyo's entire forward momentum halts -- painfully -- with his crotch right at the asshole's eye level.

That's really not ideal. Ignoring the too-tight grip on his ankle for the moment, Gojyo grabs the asshole by the head and flings himself backwards. Wrestling is his specialty-- no way the fucker can beat him at grappling! ]

[deniles]

[Again, it's less that he's caught by surprise, and more that he wants to drive Gojyo to insanity. He pushes that ankle away, and lets himself get grabbed before he's flung backwards.

His body lands with a slam to the ground. And it's silent for a moment.

Before Niles looks up at him.]

You're really desperate... I don't blame you... a man like you definitely needs to lose his cherry.

[erogappa]

Will you just stop talking?!

[ Is this guy made of stone? Gojyo grabs at his head, unsure if he wants to just punch the guy in the mouth a lot or to smash his head against the ground a couple times. Maybe some of both? ]

[deniles]

Why?

[He moves to grab at one arm that is grabbing his head, starting to twist at it to make him let him go.]

You haven't given me a reason to stop~.

[erogappa]

[ He has to stop talking. The things he's saying... they're just so messed up! The pervert grabs his arm, but Gojyo's still got one free, and that's all he needs to slap his palm right over Niles' mouth. ]

Shut. Up!

[deniles]

[He waits for a moment, lets Gojyo get a false sense of security. Thinks he's being quiet and that the redhead has won.

And then.

There's a small lick on the palm of his hand.]

[erogappa]

[ This is a nightmare. That's really the only answer-- this is an actual nightmare, like one of the ones where you end up naked in from of the whole class (not like he ever went to class), or the ones where you have to run somewhere, away to something or towards something but your legs don't work right and you just sort of roll around on the ground. Or the ones where you're in the middle of a fight and you suddenly realize you've got an erection.

Mostly like that last one.

There's a moment of disgust when the pervert's wet nasty tongue touches his palm, but the disgust turns to full-on horror when his stupid body betrays him and responds with a jolt of interest. Oh that's just not right...

Gojyo has never run away from a fight faster than he's running away from this one right now. There really are some fights a man just can't win. ]

[deniles]

[He smirks for a moment as he watched Gojyo run away quicker than he could have ever imagined. The man had tried to fight over some gentle flirting. It's a shame, he's rather attractive.

Chuckling lightly. He waited for him to leave in a cloud of dust.

Oh, he'd be back. Niles giving a boner? That stayed with a man for a long time. He was just too good.]
