[Maria offers a somewhat wan smile.] It's not that simple, unfortunately. We do know quite a lot of things, but this is being done by people who are very good at hiding from us, and might even have similar powers to us.

[At least, she'd have to think them pretty powerful to be able to get so many people here so frequently.]

You mean the gods aren't the ones bringing people?

Maybe they need to call All Might.

[declamando]

No, they're not. They have as little idea what's going on as we do. [Her smile becomes more apologetic at that, though it disappears soon enough to be replaced by a confused frown.]

All Might?

[herofan]

He's the best hero ever! I bet he could help everyone!

[declamando]

I see. But if he's doing important hero work back in your world, it seems a little rude to bring him all the way here, doesn't it? [Maria is happy to entertain the subject now that she actually knows what it is.]

[herofan]

I bet he could find the bad guys super fast though!

[declamando]

[Maria hums in interest, though it's intentionally exaggerated for some extra effect.] How fast do you think he could search the whole world for them?

[herofan]

Super fast! He's the fastest and the strongest!

[declamando]

Oh? But what if they were hiding from him? [Her tone is an invite for Izuku to continue gushing, because at least it seems to be cheering him from his earlier upset.]

Villains hide all the time but All Might can find them! And help anybody who's hurt!

[declamando]

He sounds like a very impressive person - and you sound like you know a lot about him. [Maria's used to fanboys of one form or another, but kids idolising people is always nice and refreshing to see.]

[herofan]

He's the coolest!! All Might is my favorite hero! I watch his hero debut every day! He can save so many people!

[declamando]

Really? How many people did he save in his debut? [Maria is genuinely curious at that, because even if there is some excitable childlike exaggeration here, she can't believe it's completely without cause.]

He saved 100 people under ten minutes! I wanna be a hero just like him!

[declamando]

I can see why, that's an impressive feat. I think my team back home could have done it too, but just one person... [At least, it would probably take her, Kirika and Shirabe working together to pull it off.]

He's the coolest, strongest hero!!

And he's super nice too! I hope I'm just like him when I'm all grown up.

[declamando]

He certainly sounds like someone deserving of your admiration. I hope you get to be just like him as well. [She offers him a smile. Izuku had mentioned once before that he was learning to be a hero, so hopefully he's heading towards that goal in the future already.]

Will you be okay now, or do you still need help getting anywhere? [It wouldn't be right to move on from him without making sure of that much.]

Um... I think back to the hotel I woke up in?

A hotel? Well, that would have to be recognisable here, most of the temples I've seen are much more bizarre than that. [She considers for a moment, trying to figure out whether she might have seen the building in passing before.]

Do you remember which direction it was in at all?

Uuum... I think it's that way?
