[ It's important to him, anyways, and the few other players there are here. Miyuki figures there's no harm in extending an invitation to anybody that's loitering around within reach of him.

He stays where he is, letting Chikusa come closer on his own. ]

The basic explanation is that one person throws a ball, and the other hits it. There's way more to it than that, but if only two people are playing, you can't do a whole game. It takes teams to score points and advance, but doing this, the pitching and hitting, is good for practice.

[He listens carefully to the explanation and, after clearly thinking it over, begins to clamber over and through the window.]
