A. Various Temples (including yours!)
- [It was always so freeing to soar around using his right leg like this. He kicks off from the ground, takes off, and it's like he's flying. Who wouldn't love a power like this? No matter how conflicting the meaning behind having it is, or the feelings that come with it— he loves this power.
It's also very convenient for travel. It hasn't been too long since he's arrived in the far shore, but he's already feeling a bit lonely. As much as he may want to call himself a loner, he longs for company and interactions, and lingering in the crowds of the near shore is often more depressing than not. How can he have fun if he's barely noticed? So, today, he's taken to visiting every temple he can.
It starts with him falling from the sky right into the yard. He won't crash into anyone, thankfully, but anyone outside will probably get a gust of wind from how fast he falls. He stands, straightens himself and waves, if there's a person to greet. If not? He'll walk right on up to the temple door and knock.]
Hellooo! [It's not so weird if they're all in the same position, right?]
B. Thinking on rooftops ig
- [What Jae-Ha is doing is so odd that even some mortals have begun to notice. Perched on an under construction building that's very tall, he dangles his legs off the side of an unfinished wall and kicks them a bit. He's lounging comfortably, despite the occasional points up at him, and doesn't seem to notice that he's causing the start of a commotion.
There are rooftops that can be accessed nearby, and he can hear shouting from the ground if anyone were to do it, but for now he's lost in his thoughts staring at the clouds that pass by. This is a fine casual activity.]
C. Wildcard
- [And of course, feel free to see him around in the middle of all of this, or at night time he does like to drink! So either in a bar or with some alcohol in quiet spots like next to some docks, on a hill, maybe on another rooftop. The usual.]
A
----You came from nowhere! [ She exclaims, rushing over the edge of one of the bridges.
But more importantly: ] Are you okay?! [ If it means anything, Sanae is holding a box of pocky in her left hand. She had been snacking while touring her new home! A visitor is the last thing she expects! ]
no subject
He's peering down at the water below when Sanae approaches from behind, and he turns to face her with a smile.]
Hello, hello! I'm as fine as ever. I thought I'd take a stroll. What about you?
no subject
Okay, looks like he is fine! ] Oh, um. I'm taking a stroll as well!
Except my "stroll" doesn't include falling from up above. [ She has to wonder if this is normal for him. She coughs into her hand, and then smiles. ] Welcome to my temple! My name is Sanae. [ Have a bow. ]
no subject
It's lovely to meet you, Sanae dear. Your beauty was so striking, I fell out of the very heavens. [That doesn't work when they're here already, but it's fine.] But don't worry. You kept my heart light enough that it didn't hurt at all.
no subject
And he's saying all of these sweet things to her???! ] Ah--
[ He'll get exactly what he probably expects of her. A rosy blush, a shy look in her eyes, and a stammer in protest. No one gives her compliments like that! Especially of her appearance! ] Th-that's very kind of you to say! [ She believes that everything he's said is sincere and not a ploy. Her hand tightens nervously in his. ] But surely you must be speaking of someone else, um-- [ Glancing around. NOPE, no one else is here. Back to looking at him, but nope, can't do that either because he's too close and making her flush further! ] I...I-I mean..... [ MEANIE, giving her the doki-dokis.
Oh, she knows what to do! Releasing his hand she takes a step back and bows. ] ---I apologize for making you fall out of the heavens! If there's anything I can do--
no subject
Your company is more than enough. Shall we get to know one another, Sanae? You can call me Jae-Ha. Is this your temple? It's almost as lovely as you.
no subject
Although, ...I wouldn't say that it's my home yet. [ She takes a breath in order to try to calm herself. ] It's so grand! I'm not used to such a place. It feels too nice for someone who used to be a priestess. [ She's used to much humbler things. ]
no subject
[Maybe. In a way... He places a hand calmly on his hip as he watches her with an everlasting warm smile.] They say a god's temple reflects his or her self.
no subject
And in its isolation, it seems like a very lonely place.
Sanae steps towards one of the painted railings, looking out towards the shrine. Privately, she thinks it's too beautiful to reflect herself. ] ...If this is a reward, I'd rather share it with others. After all, if the heavens can bring such a lovely place, it wouldn't be good to keep it away from those who need a retreat. [ She looks back to him, finally relaxed in his presence. ] ---And so, you are welcome anytime, Jae-Ha, if you are in need of food or shelter. [ As if to emphasize this point, she holds out the box of pocky to him to take one. ]
no subject
[He's learned about phones, now! A great invention. He can keep in touch with all of his cute new friends. He reaches out curiously to take one of these chocolate covered sticks, though, holding it up curiously.]
What is this, exactly?
no subject
Oh boy she gets to be the firs to introduce to him the wonders of pocky?! ] This... is called pocky. It's a chocolate covered biscuit stick! You hold it by the not-chocolate covered end and eat it! I won't exchange phone numbers until you've tried some pocky.
no subject
[He holds the box with one hand as he nibbles a bit off the top of the stick he's holding with his other. Oh... it is good! He brightens as he takes another bite.]
How tasty! It's a rather unique name, though... Is it your favorite?
no subject
[ A pause, and she tucks some of her hair behind her ear as she states gently, ] ...Is that they're perfect for offering something to eat for others. And perfect for sharing with friends. [ Can she gets any more shoujo. ]
no subject
no subject
[ Munching on it. ]
no subject
[He approves. He holds the box between them as he steps a little closer.] Should we sit here, or is there a better place to share pocky, you think?
no subject
[ She'll begin to lead. ] I'll show you. [ And as they're walking. ] ...I'm sorry I forgot to ask. But are you a shinki or a god?
no subject
A shinki, in fact. I already assumed you were a god, but I suppose I should have asked first, shouldn't I have?
no subject
When you fell from the sky, I couldn't be sure. But if you're uninjured, you must be very strong regardless of being a shinki or a god. [ Over this bridge, over that bridge, and they're finally there! ]
no subject
[Of course anyone would notice that he fell from the sky and survived. He's heard some gods can jump high, but it's likely not quite the same. He's proud of his own jumping! At their new location, he takes a seat and admires the view of the waterfall, setting the box of pocky between them.]
Thank you. I'm rather confident in my strength, at least. But you must truly be the god of miracles, for me to be able to meet you today. I had bet on luck.
no subject
--Okay and the comment earns him another soft blush, and she quickly tears her gaze away from him to focus on the waterfall. ] S-still... please do be careful. [ She urges. ] It's not a good habit to fall a lot, even if you are strong.
[ ... ] Even though I'm glad you did this time, in order to meet you.
no subject
But I'm afraid I'm just not the type to stay grounded. I feel best in the air.
no subject
[ >Implying she can fly. Which she can. ]
no subject
no subject
[ And she looks up, far higher than the water fall, have the sky reflect in her eyes. ] Everything about flying-- there's a sense of freedom to it to which nothing else can compare.
