010 | Relief and Rescue
Who: Everyone!
What: Cleanup and moral support
When: All day May 16
Where: Just outside of Tokyo
Summary: It's time to get rid of the mess that that demon made!

The attack by the demon recently has left the surrounding area in a very sorry state. Not only are some people still hospitalized or slowly recovering from the affects of the draining of their life force, but a lot of nasty accidents happened during the time that people were walking around like they were dead to the world. It's been attributed to an odd natural disaster, and many think it may have been an illness that caused it.
The Heavens have decided to send any available gods and shinki down to help out in the relief efforts. If they try hard enough, they should be easily seen for the times when they are helping people out, so it shouldn't be a problem.
On top of that, some new arrivals have suddenly appeared. Amaterasu has left them little handwritten notes pinned to their shirts:
'These people need your help! I'm sorry to throw you into things like this, but please do what you can.
☼ Amaterasu ☼'
And yes, she has doodled little suns next to her name.

Care
There are a lot of people who were left hurt because of the incident with the demon and they are still trying to recover from it. From broken bones all the way to mental trauma, these people have seen a lot of crazy stuff and they aren't feeling so hot. Any kind of care is viable, but you might also want to just be an errand-runner in order to help the qualified people who are already doing a pretty good job of helping these poor folks out.
Food
A fair number of homes and stores managed to get destroyed amidst everything going on with the demon, so there's a lot of work for the neighborhood to do in helping them out. Whether by helping to rebuild what has been broken or by just handing out some free food to the people who need it. Of course, you might also take some food for yourself. Hopefully you're not a horrible enough person to just steal from the homeless~
Literal Cleaning
And here's where the fun comes in. The buildings that need to be rebuilt and the streets that need to be cleaned up are all under works and you can help in any way you deem worthy. You might carry loads or actually put forth the effort to help rebuild some lost homes, it's up to you. Of course, if you set about helping out in this way, you might notice little fairy-like spirits flitting around each of the Near Shore residents who are working hard to help each other out. The little spirits shine brightly and seem to shy away if approached, but they titter happily anytime the person they're following does something nice.
Banquet
After the day is done, the Heavens have a special treat set up for anyone who helped out - a large banquet in the Meeting Hall back on the Far Shore. Just like any other banquet, there is food and booze of every kind available. But also, the small tittering bright white spirits are in attendance, following around any Far Shore resident who helped out today. You might find yourself with a new friend or two who won't leave you alone, who keep giggling anytime you're kind, and who don't seem to be able to talk and only exude delight and good feelings.

OTA
[Rep may not be one of the super-strong gods or shinki, but he doesn't have muscles for show.
He didn't even know that so much of the town had even gotten damaged--he'd left before things got too bad--but moving debris and cleaning up the streets gave him some exercise and made him feel a little more useful.
And it boosted his ego, because he was clearly stronger than even some of the adults working, and he grinned when the acknowledged it...though a little more modestly when it was anyone nearer his age.]
Lots of training! Try kendo...and don't slack off!
Banquet
[The need for food was something that still baffled Rep. He was dead, he didn't need to eat (or use the bathroom, apparently), but every time he found himself faced with a large amount of food, he couldn't help eating so much of it.
Maybe he didn't need to try every dessert, but why not? He'll eat what he wants, it's not like he'll get terminally sick or anything. While he attacks his desserts, he's surrounded by several of the bright spirits, and doesn't seem to mind them aside from absently brushing them away when they get too close to his face.]
Cleanup
What's kendo?
no subject
Swordfighting!
[He picks up a splinter of wood about the size of a very short sword from the ground nearby and swings it to illustrate his point. It's probably less effective when his other arm is occupied holding a bunch of debris.]
Aren't you kind of small to be helping out with this stuff?
[Sorry Goten.]
no subject
[Regardless of the effect, Goten is easily impressed. He's never really thought of sword fighting. Theres' just something satisfying about using his own fists!]
Huh? But doesn't everyone have to help out? You're not that big either.
[He stares up at him, frowning a little.]
no subject
I mean, you can't lift or carry very much, can you?
[Assuming is bad, don't do it. He's doing it anyway.]
I'm pretty good at it! I haven't practiced a lot lately because I'm not supposed to be fighting ayakashi by myself.
no subject
Yeah it's easy! I can show you!
[Goten is pulling down the small pile he's carrying. It really doesn't show off his strength at all and if this guy thinks he's too small to help then Goten has no problem showing him otherwise.]
I've never fought an ayakashi at all! If you like sword fighting you should practice it more just for fun! I like to fight too just not like that!
[He grins, walking over to the taller boy, staring up at him with excitment]
no subject
[If only to avoid them.]
Sure, go ahead and show me. I'm curious.
[Impress him, Goten.]
no subject
[Really Goten wants to take one on himself but he just hasn't had the chance to. He grins up at Replica for a little while before he bounces off the ground.]
Okay!
[Instead of dropping back down, he floats and goes around behind the taller boy in a fluid motion. From there he wraps his arms around his waist, hugging him as he starts to float upwards with Riku, lifting him off the ground.]
no subject
[He raises his eyebrows at the bouncing, then the unexpected circling around him. Whatever the kid's doing, he wants to be able to see it, so he starts to turn around.]
Hey, what are you--h-hey!?
[Goten clearly didn't lift him, they were moving upwards and Riku is very much startled and a little concerned.]
How are you doing that?
no subject
[That explains everything right? He floats just above the houses, holding Repilica in his arms with ease. Granted his arms are small so the side of his face smooshed against the other's back. It might as well just be a long hug.]
It's nice up here, huh? I can go wayyyyyyyy higher too!
[But for now he is drifting down, slowly, to place Replica back on his feet. He just met the teen so he didn't want to start blasting into the sky with him. He kind of did that once with Sousuke when they first met and it startled him so....lesson sort of learned? Kind of.
Once his feet are back on the ground, Goten releases his hold and drops down himself. He walks around Replica and spreads out his arms with a big smile.]
Ta-Da!
no subject
[It explains nothing...but it's kind of cool. It's a good thing he isn't afraid of heights, or else he'd be panicking a whole lot more. So far, he's just wary that the only thing holding him up is this small child.]
It's really cool--no, no! Not higher, this is high enough, thanks.
[Maybe later. He'll just enjoy being able to see the tops of the houses for now. Thankfully, Goten listens and he's back on the ground soon enough.]
...Okay, you win, I'll admit that.
no subject
Yeah! Alright!
[Once he settles, he's a bit closer to him, staring with growing curiosity.] I can fly and I'm pretty strong and I can blast stuff but that thing you were doing earlier. The sword fighting! I wanna see more of your sword fighting too!
[Now if only he had a real sword then it'd be even cooler!]
