Just don't make it obvious. Take their favorite food for example. Just make it for them and say it's a new recipe you wanted to try out. Or if you can't cook, have a friend of yours come over and make it for all of you so it doesn't seem weird.

If you something like their favorite hobby, like... you look sporty, so say they like, oh I dunno... track and field stuff. Suggest you all go for a jog for exercise. If it's a favorite color, buy them clothes and stuff in those colors. That's what I do, anyway.

As long as you don't admit to anything, then they can't pin anything on you. Have you even really thought about this?
