[closed] yeah I’m in that Tonka, colour of Willy Wonka
Who: Sanae and Adachi
What: prayer no 2.
Where: her temple
When: Backdated to May 28th
Warnings: None!
"This is the fourth time my mother's been in the hospital. The bills keep getting bigger. I don't know what to do! I need the strength to get through this. Please... help me..."
[ So petitions the prayer relayed to Sanae. It is but a simple task to heal someone for a goddess of miracles where the requester specifically does ask for a miracle of sorts, for money, for someone else's health. But Sanae isn't simply going to grant it as-is and be done with it. No, she enjoys having a deeper connection to those that pray to her. And so, she goes to the Near Shore to visit the requester and talk to them, she visits the comatose mother, and she learns of what they are like, and what they believe in. She doesn't give away the fact that she is a goddess, but instead comes a concerned friend. And after speaking with them, she becomes moved even more to help them out-- but help them out subtly, of course.
Which is why she's decided that she must go the traditional route in helping someone who is deathly ill, to fold a 1000 paper cranes. When completed, she will personally deliver them to the requester, and when they are hung in the mother's room they will begin to work their miracles. On paper crane for health, another paper crane for fortune, another paper crane for a speedy recovery, and so on and so forth. Currently she's seated at the low table in one of the living rooms, an array of colored and patterned folding paper strewn about the table. There's tea set out and some snacks as well. ] Adachi, how is your pile going?
[ She inquires, looking over to her shinki. Naturally, she's employed him in this particular prayer. It's not a prayer that involves fighting an ayakashi, which she knows he's not too keen on doing. But she won't be satisfied with him doing nothing at all, lazing about the whole day. This is an effort to get him move involved in prayer-answering!
For the record, Sanae has already completed folding about 150 paper cranes. ]
