Between the cup of tea (is it tea?) and whatever it is he is attempting to draw, Youji hardly looks as if he might be in the mood for a conversation, and certainly not for what will certainly turn out to be an extremely awkward conversation about something Kija cannot remember doing but feels really bad about doing anyway.
[This does nothing to change the fact that he really needs to apologize. Or the fact that Kija, having managed to find Youji in the first place, is absolutely not the kind to simply walk away again and let the matter lie, and it hardly seems he could make this man feel any more frustrated than - than whatever it is the tea and the sketchpad is in aid of.
[He is wondering how on earth he's supposed to interrupt when Youji tears another page out of the book, and tosses it away - and that seems as good a time as any to approach.]
