Seeing Lara in full armor made Simon feel slightly less guilty about asking for her help with this. She seemed like someone who knew how to fight but he didn't really know for certain how well...clearly she was comfortable with the challenge ahead.
Simon's shinki remained in vessel form and worn, a pair of round, red glasses. She would be safer this way, the woman even less of a combatant than he was. Other than that he'd dressed for comfort and ease of movement over protection. With luck that choice wouldn't become a liability.
"On the third floor in long term care," Simon answered, pointing towards the building. Most of the windows were dark, the rooms dimmed for sleep, but there was still light in the halls for the sake of the night shift staff. "From what I saw it goes from room to room, travelling along the ceiling. I can get us up there..."
Teleporting was still strange, but after 'Skylar' had shown him the initial trick of it he'd been practicing as much he could. Simon took a step closer to Lara and her shinki, putting a hand on each woman's shoulder and focusing on the last place he'd spotted the ayakashi, feeling it pull him and letting it take all three along for the ride. It was a little draining to take more than just himself...all the more reason that he be the one to do it and save Lara the energy. With a brief flash of light they moved from the streets outside to just beyond one of the windows Simon had pointed to, the brightly lit hallway. No sign of the monster, but the cobwebs in the corners were evidence it had been around.
