There were certainly a lot of broken hearts and emotional roller coasters recently, so the Heavens have decided it's time to allow their people to let loose and have some fun for a little while. Through some magic - or possibly just a lot of money - they have managed to rent out an entire private beach for the event so that they won't be interrupted by any Near Shore residents. The beach is beautiful and well-maintained, the ocean goes for as far as the eye can see, and rocky outcroppings offer a handy place to dive into the water on a test of courage.

It's a beautiful summer day, perfect for swimming and cracking watermelons and playing some beach volleyball. There's even some soft music permeating the air so that nothing is every silent on this fun-filled day.

New arrivals, after having been met at the Meeting Hall, would have been immediately redirected to this party. After all, they should be enjoying themselves as well.



Swimwear

Anyone who doesn't have swimwear will be provided with swimwear to fit their needs. Unfortunately, the Heavens don't have access to a lot of swimwear, so you'll likely wind up with something ugly, something old, or something just plain weird.

Playful Fish

The sea critters are excited about the party too. They're happy to swim up to anyone in the water and will even come up to the shallows to take a look at the fun happening on the shore. Toe nibbling and brushes of scales are in your future, so you'd better get used to the idea if you plan on being in the water.

Barbecue

Some basics have been provided, but everyone has been asked to bring a little something to the barbecue as well if they can. So you're more than welcome to grab one of the many grills and start frying things up. Heck, there are even fishing poles available if you feel like hauling in a few of those friendly fish to grill. Additionally, summery drinks have been provided, including iced tea, lemonade, water, and horribly fruity cocktails.

After Dark

Just because the sun is down doesn't mean that the party's stopping! The barbecue will continue well into the night, lit now by the stars and a huge, roaring bonfire. The bonfire is maintained by Amaterasu's shinki and climbs higher than any bonfire has the right to. Also, there are floating lights in the water so that people can continue swimming now that it's dark. And if you happen to get too drunk to go home, don't worry. A white-clad shinki will be happy to put you back to bed at the end of the night. Additionally, some sparklers and small bottle rockets have been provided for your entertainment.

[Nerd child. Terra, still letting Sora cling, starts for the ocean.

Three guess what he wants to do.]

[Sora just lets himself get dragged along, too busy still being enamored with Terra.]

I was too busy asking you to teach me!

I asked you three times, Sora.

[Once they're by the ocean, Terra just.

Picks Sora up and tosses him in. He should be far enough not to get hurt.]

[He's a one track mind, okay.]

I just- Whuaaa!!!

[Sora is tossed like a sack of potatoes and flies into the ocean with a loud sploosh.

When he pops out he sputters wildly.]

Terra!!!

[earthshakin]

[And Terra just laughs as Sora breaks water]

Sora!!!

[oathkeeper]

[Sora runs over to Terra (slowly, running in water is hard) and jumps at him, clamoring over him like a mountain. He's attempting to drag Terra into the water. >:|]

That was mean!! I'll get you!!

[earthshakin]

[And Terra just laughs because seriously, child, you are a tiny gnome to his goliath you aren't doing anything]

How was that mean? The water was right there!

[oathkeeper]

[The gnome continues to climb all over Terra, tugging and grabbing at his arms and trying his best to topple him over into the water.]

You threw me in there like dead weight! I wasn't expecting it! Terra, mean!!

[Despite that, he's kind of grinning in amusement too.]

You were acting like dead weight. Are you going to keep trying to drag me in?

[oathkeeper]

Yes! I am!! I can do it!!

[Sora lets out a loud heave and tries to drag Terra into the water.

... He's really going nowhere with this.

Sora eventually just hangs off of Terra's arm.]

[earthshakin]

[And Terra just waits for Sora to give up]

I'm a good foot taller than you, Sora, and I've got to weigh more. Good effort, though. Maybe with some training you'll be able to do something.

[oathkeeper]

[As Terra talks he slowly just becomes a lump of Sora jello attached to Terra's arm. He grins up at Terra.]

So you're gonna teach me to be tough and strong like you then, right? Right?

[earthshakin]

No, because I'm going to teach you how to be strong like you. We're different people, after all.

[oathkeeper]

[Sora finally stops latching onto Terra and looks up at him with fond gratefulness.]

Thanks, Terra. That... That means a lot to me. Riku is a master and Roxas has a year of training on me so... I really want to catch up. Thank you!

[He's so excited. He's finally going to have a teacher!]
