As a general rule, Chikusa tries to keep the temple stocked up on supplies. Oh, sure, they're not great supplies, currently- canned food and other cheap things which can be made simply and quickly, but they by all means count. Besides, he's not certain of his cooking ability yet.

Still, that doesn't mean they have to live like slobs. They may as well get some spices, eggs... things like that. Simple things to start with.

It's not meant to be a long stop. He's merely passing through a small store not that far from one of Axel's shrines, skillfully slipping some things into his bag (there's no need to be careless even with partial invisibility). With that done, he immediately and quietly makes for the exit, just another teenager in a baby blue beanie.

[ Once the poison is completely decimated, Zero stands up straight again and congratulations hat-less. His fingers clench at his sides, but not because of the hat. His Hunter tattoo begins to glow a deep red indicating the perilous presence of his vampire side. The rapid healing taxed him and while he's in control, his vampire side is dangerously close to the surface, pissed at his refusal to take their blood as payment. ]

[Axel's lucky. His blood is probably not palatable, because it's likely either black and sparkly or ichor. He's not inclined to find out which. It's also good that Chikusa is a Yoyo at this time. Axel sticks the yoyo in the hat.]

[Being put into a hat is definitely much different than wearing it, but... The lowkey anxiety starts to ebb away, and Chikusa's sigh of relief can no doubt be heard.]

[ He's breathing hard, his senses on high alert as the steady beat of his heart begins to drown out everything forcing him to dig into his jacket and pull out a silver case. He slips the top off with his thumb and throws back the contents straight into his mouth swallowing them whole. The pomegranates seeds act like his blood tablets curbing his hunger until he can stop focusing on Axel's heart beat for a moment. By then, his the steady glow from his tattoo begins to dwindle disappearing a minute later along with his heavy breaths. ]

[If Axel knew what Zero was focusing on, the beating of his heart, he'd laugh. There's barely a heart left there. Maybe a physical one, but he's as far from human as a heartless is, despite appearances.

Regardless, he waves his free hand before vanishing in a rush of flame. He's not going to the far shore just yet, merely back to his nearby shrine. If Zero wants to track them, he probably can, but for now they're alone. There, he releases Chikusa from his vessel form.]
