[He's been given utensils for little kids so often during the time he's spent in Japan that he thinks that's just how they're supposed to look, so he snatches the spoon without comment.]

About time.

[He grabs the bowl and starts shoveling food into his mouth. His table manners leave something to be desired, to the point where one wonders if he was raised by wolves.]

I don't care about history. You need to learn how to use spoons.

[He talks with his mouth open, too.]
