Noctis... [She repeats his name a few times to herself just to get a feel for it, liking the way her mouth forms his name and she grins.] Are worse places to meet.
[Considering Oona's only two articles of clothing are the obviously stolen pants too big on her and the labcoat that's open, she doesn't really care where Noctis looks. It's just a body, they're just bloodstains... It's fine, it happens. There's also the mess of scars decorating her throat and chest, some surgical-looking and some not.
The question gets a surprised look that melts to suspicion for a moment, like there was some ulterior motive as to why he'd want to ask, before she seems to decide whatever. Sh leans back some, looking thoughtful and nostalgic. Because being understood for this part is important to her, she speaks a little more carefully and clearly, a little less broken than previously] Lived deep in water, where light could not reach. It was dark, and there is very little around, but it was still fun. Many, many fish--ones most humans do not ever see, because can not travel so deep. Would play with them--and eat, of course. Hunting is fun.
[Though 'hunting' for them was probably more like 'fishing' for humans.] Would play with brothers and sisters. Mother would teach me things would need to know if decided to lead own clan, or how to fight or go on hunts. Strict. [But she smiles fondly.] But she taught me things. Taught me basics to removing tail, to turn human. It helped. [Obviously.]
Father... Ah, father would comb my hair, teach me to braid, things like that. Had short hair, before left, but he would put things in it to make it pretty. Taught me to sing, and to dance. Spent much time with him... [She misses him probably the most, if her expression is anything to go by. Oona picks at a cooking, giving herself something to do as a semi-distraction as she talks]
Brother... Ah, youngest brother is probably on his Journey now. When we become adults, leave clan and travel. Clan to clan, all major ones, learn magic and things needed. Then, return home-- or join clan, or start own. Explore whole ocean, see everything! It is very exciting! See reefs and coasts and different fish! Eat lots of different fish! [She laughs a little, but her expression is still wistful] ...Did not get to go far... There are many fish I have not eaten yet... [A true tragedy.]
