Summary: Training sessions for everyone to learn more about their abilities and jobs!



Many people have been wanting to know more about their abilities and what they are required to do here in the Far Shore. So, in conjunction with Bishamonten, the Heavens have seen fit to offer an open training session for everyone to participate in. Here you will be able to learn anything and everything about what you should be able to do and what is expected of you in your new positions.

Bishamon's temple is sweeping and gorgeous, having previously been home to hundreds of shinki. She has graciously offered to hold this training session and will be available to help anyone who needs it.



Equipment

Various kinds of mannequins and dummies have been provided for practice, as well as targets that are either stationary or move, depending on your will. Punching bags, jumping blocks, and a large pool area have also been provided for your use, so that you can find a tool for pretty much anything that you might need to practice. Plenty of practice weapons of various weights, sizes, and shapes are also available upon request from any of the many white-clad shinki that are also attending today.

God Training

Bishamon herself will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of you. It is also encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Shinki Training

Various shinki are available to help with shinki training, including Kazuma and all of Bishamon's shinki. Additionally, the white-clad shinki will be more than happy to train you on using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is also encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Refreshments

There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're even just taking a quick break to cool down. The Heavens want you to stay in good condition!

[He's a guy who had to work his way up from absolutely nothing power-wise. When it comes to powers he admires and studies them, especially those from the pro heroes.

But he's also sure that each and every single one of them keep their skills sharp by actively working.]

Isn't that the way of a genius?

[ This is like. The most fundamental thing in her life, okay. Hibiki is always good at everything. All the time. Except those times when she isn't, but those times are anomalies. Outliers. They don't count.

It's another unusual question for that very reason, though, so she studies the boy a bit more carefully. ] You're awfully distrusting.

[He looks tired for a moment, like he's seen way too much for a sixteen year old.]

Because my childhood friend thought he was the best of the best. Then he got captured by villains. Just because you think you're strong now, doesn't mean you can't improve.

Especially since... we're supposed to protect people. That's part of being a god, at least it is for me. If I can be that little bit faster and stronger, then maybe I can protect just one more person. That matters.

[ Sorry, she's hung up on "captured by villains". Is your world straight out of a comic book or something? It must be possible...

....oh, right, the rest of it. Hibiki blinks away the superhero costume she totally wasn't imagining herself in and shrugs. ] I never said I wasn't improving.

[ One can always become more perfect. When one is Shikyoin Hibiki. ]

[ Hibiki smiles. It's almost indulgent. This boy....he gets a look on his face sometimes that's unfamiliar to her, but he's also such a child. ]

What's your favorite flower?

[ There's a point to this. She swears. ]

[He likes flowers for the people that they remind him of.]

Then, to expand your mind. [ Stepping back, Hibiki snaps her fingers.

Just like that, the air fills with fluttering purple petals, and laurel trees with golden leaves spring up around them. If Izuku tries to actually touch any of these, however, he'll find they whiff right through him. They're illusions.

This purple lily Hibiki pulls out of her jacket pocket and presents to him, however, is real. ] Charm, passion, royalty, majesty. All talents that surmount any obstacle.

[ Here, have a laurel sprig too. ] And laurels for genius. My trademarks.

[ Now do you understand? There's nothing to be worried about where Hibiki is concerned at all! ]

[He does try to touch the petals... those sure are illusions. He's heard of quirks like this before, even if he's never seen them in person.]

You didn't actually explain anything. Talent is no replacement for experience and training.

[ ...Determined to stick to that, are we. Perhaps this conversation is fruitless.

Well, Hibiki won't begrudge him the lily and the laurels, at least. ] I suppose we'll see.

[ This smile isn't worried. Still looks like she thinks she knows more than he does, and is comfortable with that. ]

... I hope your ego doesn't cost you anything important.

[She seems like the type of person who wouldn't hack it in the hero world. Even the people confident in their skills make sure they stay sharp.]

[ Yes, but none of them are Shikyoin Hibiki.

She voices her smirk, a little confident 'heh' sound. ] And may your efforts not betray you.

[ At least she's...seen effort work. For other people. Sometimes. ]
