Summary: Training sessions for everyone to learn more about their abilities and jobs!

Many people have been wanting to know more about their abilities and what they are required to do here in the Far Shore. So, in conjunction with Bishamonten, the Heavens have seen fit to offer an open training session for everyone to participate in. Here you will be able to learn anything and everything about what you should be able to do and what is expected of you in your new positions.

Bishamon's temple is sweeping and gorgeous, having previously been home to hundreds of shinki. She has graciously offered to hold this training session and will be available to help anyone who needs it.

Equipment

Various kinds of mannequins and dummies have been provided for practice, as well as targets that are either stationary or move, depending on your will. Punching bags, jumping blocks, and a large pool area have also been provided for your use, so that you can find a tool for pretty much anything that you might need to practice. Plenty of practice weapons of various weights, sizes, and shapes are also available upon request from any of the many white-clad shinki that are also attending today.

God Training

Bishamon herself will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of you. It is also encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Shinki Training

Various shinki are available to help with shinki training, including Kazuma and all of Bishamon's shinki. Additionally, the white-clad shinki will be more than happy to train you on using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is also encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Refreshments

There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're even just taking a quick break to cool down. The Heavens want you to stay in good condition!

[ He starts a bit, about to say he will get a towel before he sees red surround the man. The water had evaporated...why did that seem familiar?

The man didn't say anything and Eric began to fidget with his hands. He looked angry at him. ]

I...didn't mean to...are you okay?

[ He shifts into a sitting position.

His words and stance give him away. Like the others, he doesn't recognize him. He doesn't remember. His heart slowly grows cold as he comes to the realization...

Eric... is a shinki. ]

[ Kusanagi and Yata weren't alone. Eric... his clansmen. It's undeniable now. He knows. He knows what happened to them.

... your powers aren't meant for destruction.

Totsuka's words are met with chaos. The magma-like flame thrashes inside its prison, relentlessly lashing at the cracks until they burrow through. Red spills out and quickly runs the length of him in a protective layer of destruction. The Red King struggles to keep it under control, but its nearly impossible when faced with the fate of his clansmen.

Pressure begins to build and his shoulders shake in his struggle to keep it from spilling out into the world. And through it all, Totsuka's words keep repeating the fantasy he foolishly made himself believe. The peace he felt when Munakata's sword found his heart was a lie. In the end, he didn't protect any of them. ]

An explosion of Red. ]

[ Eric doesn't realize he's flying until he hits the ground, rolling slightly until he's on his back. He scrambles up to his feet and watches his vision filled with red and flames The tree that had been nearby was no longer there.

At the same time he was scared, he felt a small tug...something familiar. Was this simillar to the fire he made? Was he capable of the same thing?

He takes a bit of a step back before he frowns. He can't think about it, can't run. He took two steps forward. These flames...didn't hurt. Don't think about it. ]

S-STOP IT! You can't!

[ The eruption is scaled back due to his last minute violent pull of power that he buries deep within. He manages to stopper it but not before leveling the surrounding area by a ten foot radius. The ground is scorched, melting beneath his feet as he inhales reflexively trying to pull it back while the cracks keep on spreading spilling more of the aura out than he can take back in, then... he hears him. Eric.

His eyes widen by a fraction - Why is he so close?! He pulls the flames in desperately, his control too frazzled at the moment to be certain he won't burn him. ]

[ Eric watches as the flames recede and he freezes a bit, deciding what should he do, what is even happening??

He should run, turn tail and never try to talk to this guy ever again.

He takes a step forward. He feels his feet warm up through his shoes, he doesn't dare touch the soil that's still steaming. The heat was amazing, but, it wasn't as scary as it should be. Best not to think about it. Don't think, just...do. ]

If...you're done with your temper tantrum...

[ He says this carefully, but maybe it will help this guy snap out of...whatever it is he's in. ]

Sorry for the water splash, but it seems like you took care of it just fine. And as horrible as this place is, it's not bad enough to burn to the ground. Some people make the best of it. So get used to it, or burn someplace where there's not a lot of people around.

[ Red slowly recedes, disappearing back into him and as the last flames disappear the earth around him begins to cool. The soil begins to harden and the steam slowly wafts away leaving Mikoto sweating from the exertion to pull it all back. Through it all, he can hear him talking but the words don't register at first and he barely catches the last of it. It doesn't matter though. He lost control. For a moment, he lost control and.... He looks around, seeing the totality of the destruction for the first time before golden eyes rise to meet his clansmen. ]

[ He's fine. No burn marks. ]

[ The flames and red disappear and Eric looks almost fascinated as if it just went back into this guy. He seemed almost like he was a god, or someone with god powers at any rate.

At the look, he stiffens a bit, not quite sure what to expect. He wasn't expecting a look of almost contemplation. ]

Uh...uhm...you finish?

[ He needs to get out of there. Right now, he doesn't trust himself. Not with everything that he's found out in the span of a few hours. The memories of them, they were almost a burden. Almost a personification of pain and yet, he would never let them take them from him.

With a heavy breath Mikoto turns leaves. ]

Ah...

[ Eric freezes, a bit startled by how the guy just turned around and started to leave. Should he follow? He felt like...he should, but what else could he do? He literally blew up when he saw him, maybe, he should just avoid him.

He looked down, maybe he should just get another water. He sighed, turned around, and went back to get a water. One he won't spill over someone. ]
