Summary: Training sessions for everyone to learn more about their abilities and jobs!



Many people have been wanting to know more about their abilities and what they are required to do here in the Far Shore. So, in conjunction with Bishamonten, the Heavens have seen fit to offer an open training session for everyone to participate in. Here you will be able to learn anything and everything about what you should be able to do and what is expected of you in your new positions.

Bishamon's temple is sweeping and gorgeous, having previously been home to hundreds of shinki. She has graciously offered to hold this training session and will be available to help anyone who needs it.



Equipment

Various kinds of mannequins and dummies have been provided for practice, as well as targets that are either stationary or move, depending on your will. Punching bags, jumping blocks, and a large pool area have also been provided for your use, so that you can find a tool for pretty much anything that you might need to practice. Plenty of practice weapons of various weights, sizes, and shapes are also available upon request from any of the many white-clad shinki that are also attending today.

God Training

Bishamon herself will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of you. It is also encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Shinki Training

Various shinki are available to help with shinki training, including Kazuma and all of Bishamon's shinki. Additionally, the white-clad shinki will be more than happy to train you on using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is also encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Refreshments

There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're even just taking a quick break to cool down. The Heavens want you to stay in good condition!

[ Mikleo is mindful not to run into the older individual a second time. Though he does offer a bottle of water-- albeit a tad bit awkward since he's not sure how to handle his manners with someone who took such a thing he did in the past to much offense.

Not that he hated the other for having his opinions but he's still very much confused. Hopefully, he'd start off on a better foot the second time. ]

It seems like the training for Gods are just as intense as they are for shinkis huh?

I didn't mean it like that. I think some Gods are rather incredible.

In more ways than one, I think Gods have it much harder.

[ After all, he could tell that his own God had a lot of weight to carry. That's why he's working so hard to better himself. ]

I heard stories about Gods having some crucial knowledge that Shinkis aren't completely aware of. Such things cannot be discussed with those who are considered a Shinki, due to the fact that they maybe subjected to being turned into the very things they're trying to exorcise with their gods.

So I've heard. There are consequences for revealing such things. Can you tell me more on what the exact consequences are? I would like to know what I'm setting myself up for int he future.

[ He replied frowning. Zero didn't have to be that blunt but fine. He'll deal. ]

You die.

[ He's not mincing his words. You want to learn about your past then you better be ready to swallow the consequences. ]

You turn into the very thing you're meant to destroy. An Ayakshi. The people who are most likely to bear the brunt of it will the ones closest to you. Your god will be the worst off. They feel what you feel. Don't think you're the only one who suffers when you go down this path.

I see, so Shinkis are capable of being turned in Ayakashi.

[ That made a lot more sense to him now that he had been asking around. That sort of information would be useful to Sorey once he ran into his God again. ]

Thank you for the warning. I will keep it in mind. I do not by any means wish to burden my God than I already have. I want to be stronger so that I can protect him from anything that could harm him, including the Ayakashi. It would be counterproductive if I were to become one myself.

What are you even talking about? I wasn't insinuating that I wanted to be coddled. I wanted to know this information so I can be a better Shinki. Where do you even get these ideas?!

[ Somehow that just rubbed him the wrong way. He would never want to be coddled. He's been working hard to fulfill his role as a Shinki. ]
