Summary: Training sessions for everyone to learn more about their abilities and jobs!



Many people have been wanting to know more about their abilities and what they are required to do here in the Far Shore. So, in conjunction with Bishamonten, the Heavens have seen fit to offer an open training session for everyone to participate in. Here you will be able to learn anything and everything about what you should be able to do and what is expected of you in your new positions.

Bishamon's temple is sweeping and gorgeous, having previously been home to hundreds of shinki. She has graciously offered to hold this training session and will be available to help anyone who needs it.



Equipment

Various kinds of mannequins and dummies have been provided for practice, as well as targets that are either stationary or move, depending on your will. Punching bags, jumping blocks, and a large pool area have also been provided for your use, so that you can find a tool for pretty much anything that you might need to practice. Plenty of practice weapons of various weights, sizes, and shapes are also available upon request from any of the many white-clad shinki that are also attending today.

God Training

Bishamon herself will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of you. It is also encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Shinki Training

Various shinki are available to help with shinki training, including Kazuma and all of Bishamon's shinki. Additionally, the white-clad shinki will be more than happy to train you on using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is also encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Refreshments

There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're even just taking a quick break to cool down. The Heavens want you to stay in good condition!

[A small, humorless smile passes across Danikken's face at the mention of gods who lie. It must be something in the definition that differs between them. For Danikken, there is no such thing as a god that does not tell the truth.]

Real gods, I think, aren't easy to look at. [It's not exactly an answer to her question, but it's probably close enough.] And I don't think regular people--or irregular people, for that matter--can become gods. Not really. I think it's like you say: they want to believe, and they want us to believe, too.

[Something dark, something dangerous creeps into his voice.] It doesn't turn out well when people act as a god.

Say lost gods, so, we replace. [That's what she'd been told, anyhow. She stretches her legs out on the grass with a wince and leans back against her hands, tilting her head back to stare at the sky with a distant expression. Her hair spills out along the ground but she pays it no mind--it's already dirty and flecked with dried blood, what's some more dirt going to do?

Her own tone darkens at that and she bares her teeth at nothing] No, does not. Humans not have power; goes to heads. [Oona snorts and squints her eyes a little, watching a couple clouds] But, am not human. Do not lie. Will not. Want god of, eh... [What had they called her again?] 'Strife'? Chaos? Will do that. They will regret choice, but what do? They chose.

[She sounds smugly pleased about this. It'll be fun! She can't wait.] Fun, will be fun, but, eh... But... Rather go home....

[He is quiet, watching her as she speaks. Goddess of chaos? It probably fit her, if such a thing needed to exist. Perhaps it was easier for her if she wasn't exactly human, or at least didn't see herself as human. (She looked rather human to him, after all, and he had a rather good view.)

Did that mean that his own title was just as fitting? He didn't like to think so, that he was suited as a god of destiny. He'd always rather go home, like her. Nothing would be better than home.]

I wonder who 'they' are? Who chose this for us? And how did they do it?

[She snorts again, like it's all just that simple. But she's irritated about it all, deciding to flop back flat against the grass again, watching the cloud pass idly.]

Stupid... If there is way to be brought here, is way to go back, yes? Like door. Once you go through, door does not disappear. Door is still there, can still turn and go through. Have to find door. Suppose. [Or something like that. She tilts her head to look at him, squinting slightly against the sun.]
