Summary: Training sessions for everyone to learn more about their abilities and jobs!



Many people have been wanting to know more about their abilities and what they are required to do here in the Far Shore. So, in conjunction with Bishamonten, the Heavens have seen fit to offer an open training session for everyone to participate in. Here you will be able to learn anything and everything about what you should be able to do and what is expected of you in your new positions.

Bishamon's temple is sweeping and gorgeous, having previously been home to hundreds of shinki. She has graciously offered to hold this training session and will be available to help anyone who needs it.



Equipment

Various kinds of mannequins and dummies have been provided for practice, as well as targets that are either stationary or move, depending on your will. Punching bags, jumping blocks, and a large pool area have also been provided for your use, so that you can find a tool for pretty much anything that you might need to practice. Plenty of practice weapons of various weights, sizes, and shapes are also available upon request from any of the many white-clad shinki that are also attending today.

God Training

Bishamon herself will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of you. It is also encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Shinki Training

Various shinki are available to help with shinki training, including Kazuma and all of Bishamon's shinki. Additionally, the white-clad shinki will be more than happy to train you on using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is also encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Refreshments

There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're even just taking a quick break to cool down. The Heavens want you to stay in good condition!

[ He doesn't answer, but he's still breathing, so she's pretty sure the training didn't kill him or something. Is he hurt? Maybe he passed out from working too hard.

She reaches to grab her water bottle, intending to press the cool surface to his forehead to see if maybe that would make him feel better or get him to wake up again, in lieu of a cool cloth. Except she hadn't realized she hadn't tightened the cap all the way.

And instead Mikoto gets half a bottle of water dumped on his face. ]

Eep!

[ What is it with people and dumping water on him!

He twitches, stirring a few seconds later as the water runs down his back and - with a disgruntled sound, a red aura pulses to life evaporating the water as he shifts in her direction, golden eyes opening. ]

.......

[ He grumbles, his temper simmering on catching sight of the kid. ]

What is it.

[ You looked hot!

Nanako gives a guilty, wide-eyed start when the man opens his eyes and turns towards her, clutching the water bottle to her chest. ]

I'm sorry! I didn't mean to... I was worried. You wouldn't wake up. Are you okay?

[lionhearrt]

[ He watches her for a second and when he figures she's not just going to go away without an answer, he grumbles to himself before shifting to a sitting position and scratching at a creak in his neck.]

Fine.

[ She doesn't look convinced. ]

Did you train too much/ [ And then, her head cocked to the side, she studies his face in surprise. ] All the water dried. Did you do that?

[lionhearrt]

[ He looks down at himself. Water? It takes him a moment to figure out what she means. Oh... he used his aura to get it off. ]

Hmm.

[ He confirms with a sound. The most talkative King you ever did meet.

Mikoto stretches then, taking a look around. Where they still training? What a drag. He turns to the girl, who is still there, watching him..... Why him? ]

Who are you?

[ She looks surprised for a moment before giving him a bright smile, not minding that he didn't seem to talk much. Because Nanako talks enough for several people at times. ]

I'm Nanako! Who are you?

[lionhearrt]

[ He looks around. Are you lost kid? ]

Mikoto.

[ Fine... he'll get up now. Now leave him alone. ]

[ Nope!

Nanako follows after him, still watching him curiously. ]

What are you doing? Aren't you here to train, too?

[lionhearrt]

[ He keeps on walking at an even pace, seemingly ignoring her until he pulls out a cigarette and looks her way. ]

Mind if I smoke?

[ Considering her dad does all the time, she shakes her head, still trailing along beside him. ]

No, I don't mind. My dad does all the time.

[lionhearrt]

[ He nods and with a flick of his finger lights the cigarette before slipping it into his mouth. He takes one long drag of it, letting the smoke calm him before looking at the kid once more. ]

What are you?

[ .... please excuse his manners >_> What he means is, are you a shinki or a god. ]

[ She's not sure what he means, so she just looks confused for a moment. ]

I'm Nanako!

[ ...because that answers everything, right? ]

Nanako.

[ He tests out the name though it only pulls a frown to his lips. ]

You're not lost are you?

[ Because he really doesn't want to deal with a lost kid. ]

[ She blinks, caught off guard. ]

No. I'm supposed to be here. Are you lost?

[lionhearrt]

[ He looks to the side, taking in the his surroundings.... and awkwardly runs a hand through his hair. Damn. Where is he? ]

[ Apparently she was right! ]

You are lost?!

[lionhearrt]

[ This look.

Don't say it like that. ]

[ She's quick to reach out and take his hand, giving him a tug back towards where the refreshment table is set up, with the training grounds beyond it. ]

Are you here with someone else? Should I go find them for you?

[lionhearrt]

[ Excuse you. Who said you could cart him around like your own personal rag doll? And why is he letting her?! Have a very unpleasant Mikoto.

At the question, he shakes his head. ]

[ Look, you were the one who got lost, Mister.

Although she looks a little upset by his answer. ]

You're not here with anyone?

[ Let's get one thing straight here. He's not lost. He just doesn't know where he is right now. ]

I didn't want you to be lonely! Are you a god? Do you have a shinki?
