Summary: Training sessions for everyone to learn more about their abilities and jobs!
Many people have been wanting to know more about their abilities and what they are required to do here in the Far Shore. So, in conjunction with Bishamonten, the Heavens have seen fit to offer an open training session for everyone to participate in. Here you will be able to learn anything and everything about what you should be able to do and what is expected of you in your new positions.
Bishamon's temple is sweeping and gorgeous, having previously been home to hundreds of shinki. She has graciously offered to hold this training session and will be available to help anyone who needs it.

Summary: Training sessions for everyone to learn more about their abilities and jobs!
Many people have been wanting to know more about their abilities and what they are required to do here in the Far Shore. So, in conjunction with Bishamonten, the Heavens have seen fit to offer an open training session for everyone to participate in. Here you will be able to learn anything and everything about what you should be able to do and what is expected of you in your new positions.
Bishamon's temple is sweeping and gorgeous, having previously been home to hundreds of shinki. She has graciously offered to hold this training session and will be available to help anyone who needs it.
Equipment
- Various kinds of mannequins and dummies have been provided for practice, as well as targets that are either stationary or move, depending on your will. Punching bags, jumping blocks, and a large pool area have also been provided for your use, so that you can find a tool for pretty much anything that you might need to practice. Plenty of practice weapons of various weights, sizes, and shapes are also available upon request from any of the many white-clad shinki that are also attending today.
God Training
- Bishamon herself will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of you. It is also encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.
Shinki Training
- Various shinki are available to help with shinki training, including Kazuma and all of Bishamon's shinki. Additionally, the white-clad shinki will be more than happy to train you on using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is also encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.
Refreshments
- There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're even just taking a quick break to cool down. The Heavens want you to stay in good condition!

[ Sighing somewhat harshly, she shifted her weight to one side, shoulders rising and falling somewhat dramatically as she frowned at him. Turning the ire down a little bit. There was no point staying so angry over something that already happened. ]
What was that supposed to be anyway?

[ Just in case she thought he was the sort of person who would do that. Which he wasn't. He thinks? Look, that hadn't been the intention, okay. ]
I was just trying to cast the Borderline like he showed us. And then... that happened!

[ Brows furrowing slightly, she kept the somewhat skeptical look at bay, although it didn't do much for the tone of her voice. Obviously he was doing something wrong here.
All right. Stepping aside and behind him, away from the literal line of fire. ]

[ Cue an aggravated and obvious gesture in the direction of their instructor, irritation clear on his face (because obviously it was the other guy's fault for showing them wrong. Or something.)
But when she moves behind him he gives an uneasy little sidestep and eyes her before huffing out an exhale, grumpy. ]

[ Struggling to focus again but looking much more wary about it this time, he takes a deep breath and repeats what he'd done, concentrating and....
This time he yelps as the Red Aura manifests around his entire arm, looking likes it's on fire. Cue him waving his arm around frantically until he realizes that while there's heat, the flames don't actually hurt. ]
....the hell is this?!

At least his own surprise at what had just happened breaks his concentration enough that the Aura fades back into nothingness, leaving no sign of fire ever having been there.
He stares at his hand again, looking seriously irritated now. ]
I don't know what I'm doing! That's not a borderline! But I did the motion the same way he did!
[ He might be yelling a lot right now but he did just sort of set his arm on fire. He thinks?
...He's even forgotten she's a girl for the moment. Congratulations? ]

But all right, taking a deep breath through her nose, she squares her shoulders, looking at him. ]

...okay maybe he did a little, but it was totally an accident.
Still, with an irritated grumble, he tries to calm down and breathe. Except that just makes him more aware of the itching of his brand - the HOMRA one, not his shinki one - and he reaches up to rub at it with a frown, glancing down to see it glowing faintly with the same Red Aura as his flame had.
It hadn't been doing that before. ]

Observing him, a frown clear on her face, that faded rather abruptly when he started itching at... what was that? It wasn't like the shinki brand she had on her back and, tentatively taking a step toward him, she canted her head slightly. ]
What is that?
[ Not getting too close. Manners. Also his track record. ]

[ her question draws his attention to the distracted action, gaze casting downwards to where he'd been itching at the strange brand. He shrugs, almost looking embarrassed at the attention for a moment before awkwardly tugging the collar of his shirt aside to reveal the mark on his collarbone - not a tattoo, although that's probably the closest comparison most might come up with. ]
I dunno. I woke up with it. It started itching when I tried to cast the Borderline and it's been getting worse.
