Summary: Training sessions for everyone to learn more about their abilities and jobs!



Many people have been wanting to know more about their abilities and what they are required to do here in the Far Shore. So, in conjunction with Bishamonten, the Heavens have seen fit to offer an open training session for everyone to participate in. Here you will be able to learn anything and everything about what you should be able to do and what is expected of you in your new positions.

Bishamon's temple is sweeping and gorgeous, having previously been home to hundreds of shinki. She has graciously offered to hold this training session and will be available to help anyone who needs it.



Equipment

Various kinds of mannequins and dummies have been provided for practice, as well as targets that are either stationary or move, depending on your will. Punching bags, jumping blocks, and a large pool area have also been provided for your use, so that you can find a tool for pretty much anything that you might need to practice. Plenty of practice weapons of various weights, sizes, and shapes are also available upon request from any of the many white-clad shinki that are also attending today.

God Training

Bishamon herself will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of you. It is also encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Shinki Training

Various shinki are available to help with shinki training, including Kazuma and all of Bishamon's shinki. Additionally, the white-clad shinki will be more than happy to train you on using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is also encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Refreshments

There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're even just taking a quick break to cool down. The Heavens want you to stay in good condition!

[ Yes, but Tendou only has a bicycle cart. He can either give it oden bling, or ramen bling, and ramen is way more work.

He's not going to say that's why, though. ]

[ Who could resist his food? Nobody, ideally. Tendou slides a bowl over, filled to the brim with fish cakes, tofu and vegetables. ]

[When it came to food, Ross was best described as a bottomless pit. Shinkis didn't get hungry, true, but he still didn't skip meals. So, when the bowl slid on over to him, the oden sitting inside didn't have much time in this world.

Poor oden.]

... It's good.

[He offered the bowl back to Tendou.] Seconds please.

Slow down a bit, the food won't run away.

[ Tendou doesn't seem at all displeased though, and scoops up another bowl for Ross.

After all, polishing off the plate like that is considered a high compliment for a chef. ]

But at this rate, I might start having to charge.

That's fine. I'll just dine and dash. [Um. That was not a promising response. He wasn't inhaling the food like before, though. That counted for something, right?

...Yeah, not really.]

Didn't you say something about keeping the army fed?

[ YOU CAN TRY, BRUH. ]

I certainly did, but I'm the god of the sun, not the god of making rice.

[ So y'know, not infinite money or food. ]

Ah, that's too bad. You should request a name change. [He...just completely ignored that first part. Was he just not paying attention, or was he not worried at all about it? The world may never know.]

Seems like it'd be more useful to be a god of making rice.

Rice can't grow without the light of the sun, so it's fine.

[ Besides, who's even a god of making rice? There are agriculture gods out there, but that's awfully specific. ]

If you want, you can just get a cannon and load it with rice balls.

[What... He made a face at the suggestion. Despite being sure it was only a joke, he had a very low tolerance for over-the-top suggestions like those.]

No, I don't want to. I'll just take the rice balls without the cannon.

Good. Men shouldn't waste food.

[ He came up with the rice cannon idea himself, but he wasn't really going to do it.

[He couldn't think of any other reason for that question.]

[ He doesn't need to test people as explicitly as that, usually. ]
