Summary: Training sessions for everyone to learn more about their abilities and jobs!

Many people have been wanting to know more about their abilities and what they are required to do here in the Far Shore. So, in conjunction with Bishamonten, the Heavens have seen fit to offer an open training session for everyone to participate in. Here you will be able to learn anything and everything about what you should be able to do and what is expected of you in your new positions.

Bishamon's temple is sweeping and gorgeous, having previously been home to hundreds of shinki. She has graciously offered to hold this training session and will be available to help anyone who needs it.

Equipment

Various kinds of mannequins and dummies have been provided for practice, as well as targets that are either stationary or move, depending on your will. Punching bags, jumping blocks, and a large pool area have also been provided for your use, so that you can find a tool for pretty much anything that you might need to practice. Plenty of practice weapons of various weights, sizes, and shapes are also available upon request from any of the many white-clad shinki that are also attending today.

God Training

Bishamon herself will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of you. It is also encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Shinki Training

Various shinki are available to help with shinki training, including Kazuma and all of Bishamon's shinki. Additionally, the white-clad shinki will be more than happy to train you on using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is also encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Refreshments

There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're even just taking a quick break to cool down. The Heavens want you to stay in good condition!

Tendou Souji is a ridiculously handsome and fashionable man, (self-proclaimed but also probably true,) so it might be difficult to tell, but he nods, and points upwards at the sun.

"Grandma said this: 'If I am the centre of the world, then I must save it.'" A dramatic statement, to be sure, but since they are all sun gods here, it doesn't seem that much like bragging any more.

The theory is called heliocentrism. It has his god-name on it!

"I can fight. In fact, I doubt most of the gods here would stand a chance."

"A bold claim. One I would be interested in challenging, in fact."

She did, indeed, look quite eager at the prospect of fighting him.

"Is that so? Well then, what would those who follow me think if I turned down a challenge?" Tendou smirked, pulling a belt out of seemingly nowhere and strapping it around his waist.

Also, he just arrived so he had no followers yet.

"I'll try not to let anyone get too hurt. Transform."

A robotic beetle flew out of the sky and flipped itself into his open belt buckle, and a suit of armour formed around Tendou Souji, turning him into Kamen Rider Kabuto.

She blinked at the flashy transformation, as well as at how they were apparently doing this right now.

"A moment."

She went to fetch her sword and shield from where they were leaning against a tree off to the side, then urged any people in the area back a bit so there was room to fight without inconveniencing people in the area.

Why wait? It's not as though they need a long time to prepare. Once Leona looks as though she's ready, Kamen Rider Kabuto flips the combined handaxe and pistol off his waist, and fires half a dozen shots right at Leona.

Because why not start off with a bang?

Fortunately, Leona's homeworld is not so primitive that she didn't know a gun when she saw one. She yanked the huge shield between her and Tendou in time to block. Each shot deflected with a spark, but there was more light beyond that, a golden glow of increasing intensity was suffusing the shield as Leona advanced on him steadily behind it.

The shield was tough, that much was obvious. His shots didn't even leave a dent. Then again, he almost never expected it to do anything against Worms, so he hardly thought the fight was going to end here. That would be rather disappointing.

Still, he kept firing away, if only to test her reaction, at least until Leona got close enough to strike. Once she did, he flipped the Kunaigun in his hand, striking at her shield with the bladed, axe-bladed butt of the weapon.

With light weapons like that, Leona figured he would probably have the advantage of speed here. She would have to be careful about that.

But on the other hand, she was pretty confident she had the advantage of mass. His blow barely slowed her momentum at all, leaving him with only a split second to dodge before she plowed into him with her own and her shield's considerable combined mass.

Definitely as tough as she looks, then. He's the one who's made of metal right now and he's losing in a direct contest of strength. Not surprising, really, but he might actually have to work for it.

Tendou picks himself off the ground, and flips a switch on the belt buckle, causing the first layer of armour to purge with explosive force, revealing the red, sleeker form beneath.

"Cast off." He announces to nobody in particular, as the belt declared Change Beetle.

"It looks like power won't work, but I'm afraid that's far from all I have."

"I certainly hope it isn't!"

Now that he was off balance and also apparently purging his armor, Leona finally went in with the sword, thrusting just past the edge of the shield and at his gut. Or at least she tried, but the explosive force from the purge left her attack weak and partially deflected already. The shield barely wavered, though.

Kabuto is noticeably faster now, quickly raising his weapon, now taking the form of a knife, to parry her sword strike. Despite still being fundamentally an armoured hero even in this slimmer form, there's no reason to take a blade to the gut.

"In fact, using Clock Up against ordinary opponents feels like cheating, but... Clock Up." He could be here beating a brick wall for a long time like this, and nobody wants that. It's either this, or Hyper Mode, and Hyper Mode would be even more like cheating. So he taps a button on the side of his belt.

And the world stops moving.

At least from his point of view. To call everyone else moving in slow motion would be gracious. Loosed arrows hang still in the air. Borderlines drawn crawl upwards like he's watching grass grow.

It's a level of speed that should be impossible for her to match, and it should be easy for him to strike her in the side with a fierce elbow, and to seem to appear behind her long in an instant.

Leona blinked and he was gone, only for her to feel a pain in her side a split second later. Tendou's blow had hit, and apparently had hurt, but it didn't slow her down much at all. Instinctively, she swung her sword to the side to clear whatever that was without even looking to identify the threat.

Leona whipped her head around, AFTER her attack had gone, and wonder just how the fuck had he moved that quickly. As her mind filled with the heat of battle, the glare of light shining from her armor was continuing to get brighter.

"I don't know how you did that, but trickery won't win you every battle!"

"There's no trickery, but I'm afraid I've learned enough. You can't beat me this way."

Kamen Rider Kabuto holds his ground, keeping a few steps away from Leona so he doesn't have to risk anything here.

"Clock Up is nothing more than speed. If you can't match it, you can't match me."

He is, after all, the Lord of the the Speed. Explaining his own powers does put Tendou at a disadvantage, but putting it all on the table would make him that much more satisfied with his victory.

"I can't move as fast as you, but you can't move as fast as light!"

With the word light, Leona held her sword aloft, and there was a blinding flash that seemed to emanate directly from her body, along with a wave of blistering heat. When it cleared, the grass around her feet was on on fire, and Leona was already diving at Tendou while he was (hopefully) blinded.

Tendou would certainly try to race light itself, and he might even win if he were Hyper Kabuto, but the point is moot. He's currently not Hyper Kabuto, and not even in Clock Up.

The light sends him reeling, the supercharged senses that come with his transformation working against him for once. An arm comes up to cover his 'eyes,' and there's little he can do to avoid Leona's tackle, sending him to the ground once more.

"It seems you take being a sun god rather more literally than most." He half-muses, half-groans on the ground.

Leona stayed on top of him, pushing him down into the dirt until she was reasonably certain he was done fighting. Going limp or tapping out or something along those line. The moment he did, though, she would immediately disengage and help him back to his feet.

"My people have always had a connection with the sun, but it is not normally quite so direct as it is with me."

"I see. I won't forget that." Tendou slides the Kabuto Zecter off his belt, the transformation peeling away leaving the much more ordinary looking human behind.

"We could keep fighting, but there doesn't seem to be a point." He doesn't want to pull out Hyper Kabuto so early into his divine career, especially not in a simple sparring session. Besides, he's already shown more than enough of his hand.

"Probably not."

She suspected he might rely too much on his magical tricks to reach the standard the Rakkor demanded of their warriors, but then she had also resorted to light and fire very quickly. Was she any better?

She held out a hand for a shake. "At some point, I would like to hear how you got that relic armor of yours. I've never seen anything like it."

He would be quite insulted by that suspicion if only he knew it, but regardless he takes her hand after a moment of consideration.

"I doubt it's as interesting a story as you think, but perhaps we might just have the opportunity." At the very least, Tendou considers what he did after earning Kabuto to be far more important in the grand scheme of things.
