Many people have been wanting to know more about their abilities and what they are required to do here in the Far Shore. So, in conjunction with Bishamonten, the Heavens have seen fit to offer an open training session for everyone to participate in. Here you will be able to learn anything and everything about what you should be able to do and what is expected of you in your new positions.

Bishamon's temple is sweeping and gorgeous, having previously been home to hundreds of shinki. She has graciously offered to hold this training session and will be available to help anyone who needs it.



Equipment

Various kinds of mannequins and dummies have been provided for practice, as well as targets that are either stationary or move, depending on your will. Punching bags, jumping blocks, and a large pool area have also been provided for your use, so that you can find a tool for pretty much anything that you might need to practice. Plenty of practice weapons of various weights, sizes, and shapes are also available upon request from any of the many white-clad shinki that are also attending today.

God Training

Bishamon herself will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of you. It is also encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Shinki Training

Various shinki are available to help with shinki training, including Kazuma and all of Bishamon's shinki. Additionally, the white-clad shinki will be more than happy to train you on using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is also encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Refreshments

There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're even just taking a quick break to cool down. The Heavens want you to stay in good condition!

[ Hardly an obvious question when it has such an unusual answer! Hibiki takes out her checkbook to pay Natsuru, signing the check with a flourish and then looking over Natsuru's exercise clothes. Are there any pockets in which she can tuck this? (Plus a tip? They're not standard in Japan, but Hibiki is cosmpolitan.) ] The neighbors, however, intrigue me.

[Natsuru makes it sound so normal when she says it. It makes sense that someone like Hibiki would observe how the others are doing, doesn't it?

She doesn't have any pockets, no, but she came prepared. She gazes at the check - more specifically, Hibiki's signature on it - for a long moment. Finally, she stashes it in a small handbag to bring back to the shop with her once they're all done here.]

[ Here. Hibiki has had business cards printed since the last time you saw her (even if she'd had to hang out in the printer's office reminding them she existed). She signs the card too before giving it to Natsuru. Not all tips are monetary. ] Even if I've already met the most heavenly lady here.

Natsuru clutches the card lightly in her fingers, stunned but pleased at the unusual gift. She hadn't asked for an autograph, but that doesn't mean she doesn't appreciate it a lot! She'll treasure it more than she probably should.]

I don't know if I'm really that heavenly... not like you...

[Yes, but is Hibiki a lady? Even if she does turn out to be a woman, that's not necessarily the same thing.]

Also, take that as confirmation or denial of that thing you've been wondering. Hibiki can tell Natsuru has something on her mind, but not what.

Should I... keep it secret? That you're a woman, I mean...

[She doesn't know if Hibiki wants to be seen as male, and she's not going to be the one to ruin it if that's the case. Clearly, this changes nothing about her feelings towards her.]

Hibiki smirks. Honestly? She doesn't care one way or another. When it pleased her to claim to be male, she did so. When her purposes were better suited to announcing she was female, she changed her tune. Others' perceptions matter so little.

As for the current stance, however: ] I am myself. Shikyoin Hibiki has nothing to hide.

[ Hibiki is Hibiki. This is (the truth) sincerity. ]

[That's a... confusing answer. But Natsuru thinks she gets it. If it doesn't matter to Hibiki, then it shouldn't matter in general.]

[ She is. Hibiki takes a moment to swirl Natsuru's compliment around in her brain, enjoying it like a fine wine.

But you know what she actually has here, instead of wine? Tea. Real, proper tea, in a real, proper cup. She picks up that cup and breathes in the fragrance. ] Polish yourself well for me today. I'm expecting great things.

[ Shinki training for your god? Nah. If you discover new talents today, you're going to use them as an idol. Obviously. ]

[She sure does thank Hibiki a lot. More than she should. They're not exactly on the same page here - she's absolutely going to do her best for Maria's sake, too. But why can't she do both with equal enthusiasm? She can become a professionally trained idol and the best shinki she can possibly be! As long as she has Hibiki to help with the idol part...]

[ If Hibiki knew Natsuru's god were Maria, she'd be 100% behind that too, no worries. Geniuses make the impossible possible, so it is, of course, possible for Natsuru to be wholly dedicated to two geniuses at once.

[Natsuru's smile turns to that same shy but pleased look she gets around Hibiki so often. With a small, polite bow to Hibiki to sort of wordlessly excuse herself, she turns to head back to where the shinki training is happening. Still clutching that autographed business card in her hands...]
