Summary: Training sessions for everyone to learn more about their abilities and jobs!
Many people have been wanting to know more about their abilities and what they are required to do here in the Far Shore. So, in conjunction with Bishamonten, the Heavens have seen fit to offer an open training session for everyone to participate in. Here you will be able to learn anything and everything about what you should be able to do and what is expected of you in your new positions.
Bishamon's temple is sweeping and gorgeous, having previously been home to hundreds of shinki. She has graciously offered to hold this training session and will be available to help anyone who needs it.

Summary: Training sessions for everyone to learn more about their abilities and jobs!
Many people have been wanting to know more about their abilities and what they are required to do here in the Far Shore. So, in conjunction with Bishamonten, the Heavens have seen fit to offer an open training session for everyone to participate in. Here you will be able to learn anything and everything about what you should be able to do and what is expected of you in your new positions.
Bishamon's temple is sweeping and gorgeous, having previously been home to hundreds of shinki. She has graciously offered to hold this training session and will be available to help anyone who needs it.
Equipment
- Various kinds of mannequins and dummies have been provided for practice, as well as targets that are either stationary or move, depending on your will. Punching bags, jumping blocks, and a large pool area have also been provided for your use, so that you can find a tool for pretty much anything that you might need to practice. Plenty of practice weapons of various weights, sizes, and shapes are also available upon request from any of the many white-clad shinki that are also attending today.
God Training
- Bishamon herself will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of you. It is also encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.
Shinki Training
- Various shinki are available to help with shinki training, including Kazuma and all of Bishamon's shinki. Additionally, the white-clad shinki will be more than happy to train you on using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is also encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.
Refreshments
- There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're even just taking a quick break to cool down. The Heavens want you to stay in good condition!

Noctis will never be able to take the two of them at once. So clearly this needs to happen now.Though he does perk up at the knowledge that there is a beach around. Why didn't anyone say that sooner? He probably would have blown this place off a lot quicker than he's planning to in order to check out the local aquatic life. ]
Not really. Just got here, and all everyone's been going on about is shinki and god training.
[ No one's given him a map either. It's almost like they're trying to keep him trapped here. ]
Where can I find this beach? No point in settling for a small pool when you have a whole ocean, right?
[ Full of fish.
Okay, okay, he should make better attempts to investigate what's going on in this place and not submit to his own distractions, but he's sure there's plenty to investigate at the beach. ]

Clearly it should be a thing.]You weren’t here for that? Man, we must get new people all the time...
[ At the question of where the beach is, Demyx purses his lips and scrunches his face thoughtfully, as though making genuine effort to recall this... But all he can remember is that he’d beelined straight for the shore and hadn’t come home for hours, quite literally roasted and toasted. (Read: sunburned and drunk.)
Finally, he shrugs palm-up in defeat. ] Don’t look at me, man! Where it is from here, I dunno. But it’s gotta be around here somewhere!

All I remember is that there’s a cove for swimming, and [ ...wait for it... ] a place where Sorey and I went fishing.

Ah yes, there it is. He visibly perks up and grabs Prompto #2 by the shoulders. ]
What did you say? Are you sure you can't remember? Think.
[ A cove full of fish is on the line here. No pun intended. ]
This place has 'shore' in the title, so it can't be that hard to miss.
[ He has a feeling it might just be easier to walk around and look for it than try and get answers out of this guy. How hidden could it be? Plus, he should be used to walking a lot by now, though it's not exactly his favorite activity. ]

[ He has a feeling if he tries to rely on him too much, he'll end up going nowhere really fast. Though he should probably go back to finding his shinki, although he's suddenly struck with the sinking realization that it might be this guy. One Prompto is enough Prompto for him.
However, if he's really his shinki, shouldn't he have gotten a death vision like the messenger said he would? ]
Uh, one more thing- do you, by any chance, happen to have a god yet? Or are you the god...?

Despite that statement, however, he does catch that slight little dig, and purses his lips. That wasn't very nice! He doesn't get a chance to comment, however, before the topic changes. To that, Demyx's answer is relatively lacking in enthusiasm -- especially when compared to his previous exaggerated animation. ]
Of course I have a god. [ Said as though that should be common knowledge as well as commonplace, though he clearly and distinctly remembers a time in recent past when it was positively baffling to him.
But why ask that? Is he collecting Promptos now? Would you like a really silly (but AWESOME, okay?!) keytar for your shinki collection, Noctis? Is that what you're saying?? Because if it means having a god he can talk to, that hangs out with him and keeps him company and is a friend, Demyx won't hesitate to go nora. (Not that he really knows what that is, but hey.) In fact, he'll do it in... wait for it... a heartbeat.

[ She or he has to be around here somewhere, but Noctis doesn't feel his shinki senses tingling or anything like that. Hopefully, he has one that won't hassle him too much about his duties here, especially when he'd rather focus on getting the hell out of this place instead of making himself comfortable in it. ]
Is there some kind of sign when you meet yours? Some big arrow or ...
[ He trails off, unsure what he should be looking for. An rpg-esque exclamation point over the head could work, too. ]

His expression turns a little wry. ]
Can't help you there, man -- I found mine by accident.
[ That much is true. Everyone had shoved him away telling him to go find his god, even though he hadn't known the first place to look. He'd wandered around for a while, and then, as luck would have it, BAM -- he woke up on the guy's doorstep. Or... temple steps. Whatever. ]
Nah... [ Demyx shrugs slightly and tilts his head to one side and then the other, an unconsciously thoughtful sort of gesticulation. ] They just kinda feel like home, yknow?
Like, they're someone you've never met before in your life-- [ this coming from a shinki's perspective, mind you ] --who feels like someone you've known forever. Like you've been amigos for ages.

His face does fall a little, unsure how he's going to run into his shinki here in a way that doesn't involve actively talking to strangers. Not his favorite thing in the world really. ]

[ Someone who he feels like he's known forever, though... Aside from Gladio, Ignis, and Prompto, he doesn't know who else would fit that description? Those guys have been with him for what really feels like a lifetime by now that it's hard to imagine anyone else filling their shoes. Even Prompto #2 can't exactly replace actual Prompto given all they've been through together and all they know about one another.
He sighs quietly to himself. This isn't going to be easy, starting to realize he misses just the simple familiarity of having them talk around him while they travel together. ]
-Don't suppose you've seen three guys around here. Kinda dressed like this- [ He points at his clothes. ] Big guy with a scar, muscles; smaller one with glasses, kind of stuffy; last one's a blond, taking pictures of everything probably or bothering the girls.
[ Hopefully, wherever they are, they're at least together. Would be easier to find if they're all in one place. ]

Only thing that could make him better is if he said he likes music, and/or plays an instrument. Then he’d have himself a barnacle. And while Noctis likes fishing, some parts of the ocean and sea life he can do without, right? Right. ]
Unless you’ve found that person, then yeah. [ Demyx shrugs. And to the latter question, his head shakes. ] Mm-mm. No way -- I’d remember guys who look like that!
[ Or so he says. Though, he honestly hasn’t seen any of the others. Except... ]
Well... [ he scratches his cheek in thought ] ...there was a blond guy I ran into a while ago, but I dunno if he has a camera.

He perks up at the mention of a blond, trying to figure out what are some of Prompto's more definitive features. ]
Freckles, gloves... he's kind of got squinty eyes, and he talks a lot. Pretty hard to miss.
[ Or mix up. He's one-of-a-kind, that's for sure. Except this guy is kind of a clone, so maybe he should rethink that. ]

[ There would be no mistaking his chocobo-lick bangs, so hopefully that rings a bell. ]

Freckles... Well, this guy has gloves, but I'm not sure about freckles -- I didn't get that close to him. He didn't talk a whole lot, though.
[ Ah, but there is some mistaking those bangs, Noctis; you just don't know it yet. ]
Yeah! His hair was everywhere! [ He gestures around his own, then preens it some out of habit. Gotta keep that majestic mullet rockin', right? Right! ]

[ Might as well see if he can spot this guy he's talking about for himself, though the way he's describing it makes it sound like this guy's hair just exploded away from his scalp. Then again, that's also a good way to describe Prompto. ]

He raises a triumphant pointer finger, then levels it on Noctis before turning a thumb back on himself. ]

[ He gives him a slight parting wave, not sure what else to say, still trying to adjust to his surrounding and being shoved into this place with so many people he doesn't recognize at all. At least, everyone seems friendly, and no Nifs have dropped from the sky to attack. All in all, this situation could be a whole lot worse. ]
