Summary: Training sessions for everyone to learn more about their abilities and jobs!
Many people have been wanting to know more about their abilities and what they are required to do here in the Far Shore. So, in conjunction with Bishamonten, the Heavens have seen fit to offer an open training session for everyone to participate in. Here you will be able to learn anything and everything about what you should be able to do and what is expected of you in your new positions.
Bishamon's temple is sweeping and gorgeous, having previously been home to hundreds of shinki. She has graciously offered to hold this training session and will be available to help anyone who needs it.

Many people have been wanting to know more about their abilities and what they are required to do here in the Far Shore. So, in conjunction with Bishamonten, the Heavens have seen fit to offer an open training session for everyone to participate in. Here you will be able to learn anything and everything about what you should be able to do and what is expected of you in your new positions.
Bishamon's temple is sweeping and gorgeous, having previously been home to hundreds of shinki. She has graciously offered to hold this training session and will be available to help anyone who needs it.
Equipment
- Various kinds of mannequins and dummies have been provided for practice, as well as targets that are either stationary or move, depending on your will. Punching bags, jumping blocks, and a large pool area have also been provided for your use, so that you can find a tool for pretty much anything that you might need to practice. Plenty of practice weapons of various weights, sizes, and shapes are also available upon request from any of the many white-clad shinki that are also attending today.
God Training
- Bishamon herself will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of you. It is also encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.
Shinki Training
- Various shinki are available to help with shinki training, including Kazuma and all of Bishamon's shinki. Additionally, the white-clad shinki will be more than happy to train you on using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is also encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.
Refreshments
- There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're even just taking a quick break to cool down. The Heavens want you to stay in good condition!

[ But he had to have his obligatory belly laughs at Riku's expense first, of course, before they could meet again and have much quieter, friendlier talks. There's something about Riku that Demyx enjoys immensely, even if he can't explain the what or why.

He's pretty tall, all white from head to toe, and has a big lizardy tail. I haven't seen anyone else even remotely like that yet..

[ The shinki he's met have all been perfectly friendly, so excuse him for being completely blown away by the fact that, surprise! some aren't.
Nevertheless, he stiffens almost dutifully and nods more than a couple times, swallowing visibly. ] Can do! ...I hope.

..Oh the orange one is safe enough. He's friendly. Not mine though. ... I apologize if I've frightened you unduly, perhaps practicing that running away and escaping thing isn't a bad idea at all.

If Zangetsu ever corners you somewhere, see if you can give me a call or leave a message, I'll come right away. I can't guarantee I can stop him but I'll do my best. No point in having people eaten for no reason.

[At least it doesn't sound as if Zangetsu has any special adaptions that come from eating people, just a whole lot of enthusiasm when it comes to trying. ... Well, once he got what he wanted out of the relationship they could go their separate ways but until then it was dealing with the lizard guy.]

[If Xehanort is supposed to be ashamed or even visibly surprised, neither happens. Being good at controlling one's reactions is handy sometimes, though in truth Zangetsu's sudden appearance isn't .. that .. sudden.
It's hard to mask that sort of presence in the darkness.

As soon as you quantify it with 'not unless', that means you would. My warning stands. Do you intend to outline in detail every single thing that counts as 'starting shit' to you, so everyone can more easily avoid it?
[Nope, he's still pretty certain Zangetsu would eat Demyx given the chance. And a lot of other people.]

Also please remind him never to "start shit". Which, uh, he's basically the least shit-starting-ish person one will ever meet, so no issues there, right? Right!
So, Xehanort told him to freeze, as though this giant lizard-man's vision is based on movement, but of course all of that goes out the window once said lizard-man suddenly appears and Demyx is immediately grateful he hasn't had much to drink or eat today.
Naturally, his instinct is to run, as is his custom when it comes to fights and violence, and that's what takes over. It starts with backpedaling at the pace of a horror movie serial killer's next potential victim, complete with wide eyes and agape mouth. And, much like what is often the predictable cause of demise for a horror film's intrepid protagonist, Demyx too only gets a matter of steps before falling flat on his ass.
Even then, he scuttles back in a crab walk. ]

Demyx's reaction, however, is everything Zangetsu could have possibly wanted and more. It was nice to see someone respect his power! Someone who was properly terrified of a being such as him. He casually strolls closer to Demyx, smiling a horrible, fangy smile as he stands over him]

As Zangetsu looms over Demyx like the spectre of death, Xehanort waves both hands just enough to hopefully get the poor bastard's attention, mouthing DON'T MOVE as if somehow this would HELP.

Not surprising. You might want to locate Bishamon, as a god of fighting she might be the only one who could really offer you something you haven't seen before. I'll keep an ear out if any spells do come up. There's been rumors.
[But nothing concrete enough for him to point in a direction and say 'fetch!' so there really wasn't much point in elaborating.
