Summary: Training sessions for everyone to learn more about their abilities and jobs!



Many people have been wanting to know more about their abilities and what they are required to do here in the Far Shore. So, in conjunction with Bishamonten, the Heavens have seen fit to offer an open training session for everyone to participate in. Here you will be able to learn anything and everything about what you should be able to do and what is expected of you in your new positions.

Bishamon's temple is sweeping and gorgeous, having previously been home to hundreds of shinki. She has graciously offered to hold this training session and will be available to help anyone who needs it.



Equipment

Various kinds of mannequins and dummies have been provided for practice, as well as targets that are either stationary or move, depending on your will. Punching bags, jumping blocks, and a large pool area have also been provided for your use, so that you can find a tool for pretty much anything that you might need to practice. Plenty of practice weapons of various weights, sizes, and shapes are also available upon request from any of the many white-clad shinki that are also attending today.

God Training

Bishamon herself will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of you. It is also encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Shinki Training

Various shinki are available to help with shinki training, including Kazuma and all of Bishamon's shinki. Additionally, the white-clad shinki will be more than happy to train you on using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is also encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Refreshments

There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're even just taking a quick break to cool down. The Heavens want you to stay in good condition!

[A short time is all he needs, body curled around the box he’s gotten out of his pocket as his extra yoyos come out of it. Scrambling to his feet, he’s just in time to see that tonfa come swinging in with some painful new additions on it.]

[Ugh. There’s no choice for it. He raises his arm to block the tonfa so that it doesn’t hit anything else more important.]

[However, with this, Hibari will get to notice two important things.]

[The first is that, even as his tonfa goes slamming into Chikusa’s arm, he might be able to see the ring on his finger still flickering with faint blue flames.]

[The second is that, in Chikusa’s other hand, he has a blue yoyo, and all it takes is a short flick of his wrist to have it spin in his hand and send out a barrage of needles that glow the exact same blue.]

[Hibari's eye did indeed widen, seeing flames that looked very much like his own sprouting also from a ring, but the sudden yoyo and needles distracted him from further questioning. He raised his right arm barely in time to block the needles from hitting his face. They clinked off his tonfa and sank into his forearm instead, before Hibari completely brushed that off and drove his other tonfa even harder into Chikusa's arm.

Roll, on his master's shoulder had curled up in a needle ball already and shot towards Chikusa's head/shoulders, replicating along the way.]

[Note to self: Hibari Kyoya is a lot more resilient to Rain Flames than walking corpses. Good to know. Grimacing- more from effort than pain- Chikusa quickly draws his arm up to try and block the needlesphere from hitting his face. His arms are going to be a god damn mess from this, but it’s better than the alternative; his eyes and face are a lot harder to heal and hide than his limbs. With his arms preoccupied, he’s left to rely on only two other limbs, and thus tries to slam his foot into Hibari’s stomach to get the other teenager the hell away from him.]

[Kicking Hibari in the stomach was about as effective as slapping a brick wall, and all it really earned Chikusa was a surprised look, him backing up slightly, and Hibari then literally shoving him and attempting to headbutt the taller boy to the face. Hibari definitely iddn't want to touch the spine covered arms.]

[Bad news: that second was what he needed to start scrambling away.]

[Good news: “start” is the keyword, and the world swims as Hibari still manages to get him in the temple. It’s the disorientation that’s really gets him, and he sways for a second.]

[This guy was like a tree, with how much taller he was than Hibari. So he used the same principles to follow up with a jam of his heel into the guy's legs so he could maybe knock him over and actually be able to hit him in the face.]

[Speaking of trees- timberrrrrrrrrrrrr.]

[Chikusa hits the ground and, as his only defense, tries to curl himself in a ball to protect his more vulnerable and obvious spots- his face, for example. His voice is muffled.]

This is really annoying.

[Well this was kind of pathetic. He thought Chikusa himself was annoying but he didn't feel the need to say it out loud.

What he did feel the need to do was continuously kick and Chikusa's ribs and arms, hard. Maybe they cracked, maybe they didn't, but each vicious blow made him feel a little better inside.]

[Kicks aimed for the face are fine, so long as Chikusa can hide it behind his arms, but his ribs? That’s aggravating a wound that was healing, so, with that knowledge, he finally tries to roll away and get up to his feet again. In the process, he makes another attempt at a line between them. He just needs even a minute to get up…]

Don’t you have anything better to do…?

Of course I do. But little rats like you ought to be taught a lesson.

[Hibari follows him as he rolls away and drives his foot into one of his limbs, hard, before jumping back slightly from the line.]

[Well. That’s going to leave a bruise at the very least. He should probably check that out later to make sure there’s no broken bones…]

What kind of lesson, exactly…

[But don’t bother answering, Hibari. The nerd is bolting for it.]
