Summary: Training sessions for everyone to learn more about their abilities and jobs!



Many people have been wanting to know more about their abilities and what they are required to do here in the Far Shore. So, in conjunction with Bishamonten, the Heavens have seen fit to offer an open training session for everyone to participate in. Here you will be able to learn anything and everything about what you should be able to do and what is expected of you in your new positions.

Bishamon's temple is sweeping and gorgeous, having previously been home to hundreds of shinki. She has graciously offered to hold this training session and will be available to help anyone who needs it.



Equipment

Various kinds of mannequins and dummies have been provided for practice, as well as targets that are either stationary or move, depending on your will. Punching bags, jumping blocks, and a large pool area have also been provided for your use, so that you can find a tool for pretty much anything that you might need to practice. Plenty of practice weapons of various weights, sizes, and shapes are also available upon request from any of the many white-clad shinki that are also attending today.

God Training

Bishamon herself will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of you. It is also encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Shinki Training

Various shinki are available to help with shinki training, including Kazuma and all of Bishamon's shinki. Additionally, the white-clad shinki will be more than happy to train you on using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is also encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Refreshments

There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're even just taking a quick break to cool down. The Heavens want you to stay in good condition!

"Nah, I just thought the sword looked interesting! I have no idea how to use it. If I tried to spar I'd probably get hurt. But it does look pretty cool, doesn't it?"

He grinned, her confidence and exuberance making him happy.

"I don't know how to make borderlines yet! Do you? I could really use a teacher for anything shinki-related, if you wouldn't mind!"

"I never thought I'd be a teacher for something like this, but apparently today I'm one of the more experienced shinki here! It's honestly a weird feeling for me!" She chuckles and stumbles over her words a bit as she says all that, but there's not a 'no' to be found anywhere in it.

In the end she nods, still a little blushy but excited for the opportunity. "Nice to meet you, for starters. My name is Kairi. I'm one of the shinki working with Artemis, but his real name is Roxas." She extends a hand, but then laughs a little sheepishly. "I don't know if you're a handshake kind of person or hug kind of person, especially on the first meeting..."

"Honestly, whatever you're more comfortable with is perfectly all right with me! I rather enjoy physical affection, but I'd hate to make anyone uncomfortable if they aren't!"

He smiled, warming to her immediately.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Kairi! I'd really appreciate having a teacher, my god seems rather annoyed that I haven't learned any spells yet. Then again, he's usually grumpy about just about everything!"

Despite him asking 'to have a teacher', Kairi leans in for a hug with her arms around his mid-back since he's so much taller than she is. "Oh thank goodness, someone else like that! You wouldn't believe how many people get weirded out by hugs!" She steps back after saying that to look back up at him. "I know we're shinki, but it's like they've never had a friend in their whole life!"

Then she steps back a bit. "There's all kinds of spells, though. I'm sorry your god's not being nice about it. There's easier ones to learn and then there's harder ones. I don't think most people even consider Borderline and Rend spells, since they're kind of.... I don't want to say easy or basic, just so important they tend to come first."

"Not at all!"

He said it through a laugh, turning a little to return the hug as best he could with his free arm. The one not holding the sword. Sure, he could have dropped it and went in for a full hug, but that might be seen as too overbearing? He wasn't sure, but he didn't want to make her uncomfortable!

"Oh really? That's good to know! I haven't even tried to learn borderlines yet, and I probably should! Might make my god stop griping for a little while."

She grins into the hug, already feeling like she's met someone with a similar personality to her own. Nice Uncle for sure. "Well, you're in luck!" Kairi bobs forward and back on her heel a bit. "I know a bit about them, so we can practice together for a little while! How's that sound?"

If he doesn't object, Kairi's going to start walking a little further away from him so that there's enough space to show him. "I'm going to show you the wall version of Borderline first, okay?"
