Summary: Training sessions for everyone to learn more about their abilities and jobs!



Many people have been wanting to know more about their abilities and what they are required to do here in the Far Shore. So, in conjunction with Bishamonten, the Heavens have seen fit to offer an open training session for everyone to participate in. Here you will be able to learn anything and everything about what you should be able to do and what is expected of you in your new positions.

Bishamon's temple is sweeping and gorgeous, having previously been home to hundreds of shinki. She has graciously offered to hold this training session and will be available to help anyone who needs it.



Equipment

Various kinds of mannequins and dummies have been provided for practice, as well as targets that are either stationary or move, depending on your will. Punching bags, jumping blocks, and a large pool area have also been provided for your use, so that you can find a tool for pretty much anything that you might need to practice. Plenty of practice weapons of various weights, sizes, and shapes are also available upon request from any of the many white-clad shinki that are also attending today.

God Training

Bishamon herself will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of you. It is also encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Shinki Training

Various shinki are available to help with shinki training, including Kazuma and all of Bishamon's shinki. Additionally, the white-clad shinki will be more than happy to train you on using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is also encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Refreshments

There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're even just taking a quick break to cool down. The Heavens want you to stay in good condition!

It's nice to meet you, Dokugakuji. I'm Midoriya Izuku- or Deku. My god name is Aidos, but nobody really calls me that.

Alright, Dek-- Wait. Deku and Doku!

[He guffaws a bit.]

Nice t' meetcha, Deku.

[And that's when they bring back some hefty weights for Doku to try out.]

Here's what I'm talkin' about!

[Izuku laughs after a moment. Yeah, that is pretty funny.]

Alright. I'll spot you.

[He's not sure what spotting actually is aside from watching him, but he figures that's okay too.

Dokugakuji grabs some really heavy weights, but they're still only about 75% of what Deku can manage. He starts slowly lifting the weights and manages to get it at his midsection, before setting it down again.]

Phew!

[It's a good start but Izuku looks at the weights. It's not... quite enough.]

How was it? Do you think you could lift up more?

[Doku's huffing a little now that he's set the weights back down.]

Yeah, definitely a little more for sure.

[fullcowl]

[That's enough for Izuku to put more weights onto the bar, squatting down with Doku and hands hovering just underneath. That's a good 100% of what Izuku can carry without his quirk active.]

Alright, try it now.

[​He does​ struggle with it a bit. Slowly but surely, he lifts the full thing up, and then slowly lets it settle back down again.]

Hah! How about that?

[He crosses his arms.]

That sounds like an oven.

[By which he means a regular, full-size oven.]

It's like a fourth of the size of an oven, and it heats up food way faster.

I don't. Other folks do. I just don't know when that'd be compared to whenever it is now. [He shrugs.]

Sounds like a cool gadget. I don't know why you'd put an egg in it though.

I guess... that's fair? I'm not sure if this Japan's timeline matches up with my Japan's.

... You aren't supposed to. The egg explodes. But if somebody didn't know that they'd think you could cook one in it.

... I don't know much about cooking, but that really does sound like a dumb idea, exploding an egg like that. Then the egg's no good to eat anymore.

[He's completely lost the metaphor part of this.]

It... was for how hard it is to control. It's how using it felt for me, the first time I used it.

[He blinks, suddenly getting what he was trying to explain.]

You survived it, though.

[He says being more than a little impressed.]

Uh... I broke three of my limbs back then... It's not as impressive as you make it sound, really.

[It is, but Izuku's not the type to go bragging about anything.]

[Doku laughs, then reaches out with one hand to pull one of Izuku's up by a foot or so.]

Weird. Doesn't look broken now. So you survived that too.

[He doesn't resist it.]

Only because the school nurse can heal people quickly.

Whatever. [He's heard similar deflections from his own Prince. Oh well.]
