Summary: Training sessions for everyone to learn more about their abilities and jobs!



Many people have been wanting to know more about their abilities and what they are required to do here in the Far Shore. So, in conjunction with Bishamonten, the Heavens have seen fit to offer an open training session for everyone to participate in. Here you will be able to learn anything and everything about what you should be able to do and what is expected of you in your new positions.

Bishamon's temple is sweeping and gorgeous, having previously been home to hundreds of shinki. She has graciously offered to hold this training session and will be available to help anyone who needs it.



Equipment

Various kinds of mannequins and dummies have been provided for practice, as well as targets that are either stationary or move, depending on your will. Punching bags, jumping blocks, and a large pool area have also been provided for your use, so that you can find a tool for pretty much anything that you might need to practice. Plenty of practice weapons of various weights, sizes, and shapes are also available upon request from any of the many white-clad shinki that are also attending today.

God Training

Bishamon herself will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of you. It is also encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Shinki Training

Various shinki are available to help with shinki training, including Kazuma and all of Bishamon's shinki. Additionally, the white-clad shinki will be more than happy to train you on using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is also encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Refreshments

There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're even just taking a quick break to cool down. The Heavens want you to stay in good condition!

[ Yeah, barnacles are a bit of a bummer. One can't really eat barnacles, so they don't make for good fishing.

He perks up at the mention of a blond, trying to figure out what are some of Prompto's more definitive features. ]

Freckles, gloves... he's kind of got squinty eyes, and he talks a lot. Pretty hard to miss.

[ Or mix up. He's one-of-a-kind, that's for sure. Except this guy is kind of a clone, so maybe he should rethink that. ]

-was his hair sticking up, at least?

[ There would be no mistaking his chocobo-lick bangs, so hopefully that rings a bell. ]

[ Nope, they sure don't. But Demyx would be one for video games. Or pretty much anything else that lets him avoid actual honest work. ]

Freckles... Well, this guy has gloves, but I'm not sure about freckles -- I didn't get that close to him. He didn't talk a whole lot, though.

[ Ah, but there is some mistaking those bangs, Noctis; you just don't know it yet. ]

Yeah! His hair was everywhere! [ He gestures around his own, then preens it some out of habit. Gotta keep that majestic mullet rockin', right? Right! ]

[ Definitely not Prompto then. He would talk this guy's ears off without a doubt. They're too similar not to end up being all chummy with each other. ]

I'll keep a look out.

[ Might as well see if he can spot this guy he's talking about for himself, though the way he's describing it makes it sound like this guy's hair just exploded away from his scalp. Then again, that's also a good way to describe Prompto. ]

[ Not that he was necessarily helpful really, but it's more than others have said so far. ]

[ He pauses for a moment, realizing he didn't quite get this guy's name. ]

Sure thing, man!

[ Look at that, he was helpful for once!

He raises a triumphant pointer finger, then levels it on Noctis before turning a thumb back on himself. ]

Ah, right! I'm Demyx. [ The index finger reemerges, waving some. ] And you're...?

[armigers]

[ He eyes the finger, moving out of the way a bit since that's some intense pointing that's going on there. ]

Noctis. Nice to meet you, I guess.

[ He gives him a slight parting wave, not sure what else to say, still trying to adjust to his surrounding and being shoved into this place with so many people he doesn't recognize at all. At least, everyone seems friendly, and no Nifs have dropped from the sky to attack. All in all, this situation could be a whole lot worse. ]
