Summary: Training sessions for everyone to learn more about their abilities and jobs!



Many people have been wanting to know more about their abilities and what they are required to do here in the Far Shore. So, in conjunction with Bishamonten, the Heavens have seen fit to offer an open training session for everyone to participate in. Here you will be able to learn anything and everything about what you should be able to do and what is expected of you in your new positions.

Bishamon's temple is sweeping and gorgeous, having previously been home to hundreds of shinki. She has graciously offered to hold this training session and will be available to help anyone who needs it.



Equipment

Various kinds of mannequins and dummies have been provided for practice, as well as targets that are either stationary or move, depending on your will. Punching bags, jumping blocks, and a large pool area have also been provided for your use, so that you can find a tool for pretty much anything that you might need to practice. Plenty of practice weapons of various weights, sizes, and shapes are also available upon request from any of the many white-clad shinki that are also attending today.

God Training

Bishamon herself will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of you. It is also encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Shinki Training

Various shinki are available to help with shinki training, including Kazuma and all of Bishamon's shinki. Additionally, the white-clad shinki will be more than happy to train you on using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is also encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Refreshments

There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're even just taking a quick break to cool down. The Heavens want you to stay in good condition!

[The gear slows for a moment, hovering behind Doku, before zipping back to Ekko, who catches it with practiced ease.

By now he's got the practice sword back, throwing some other gadget into the air, and staying exactly where he is.

... Well shit.

[The boomerang gears are impressive to say the least. And he seems so much more dangerous with them than Add. Huh.

Doku does manage to dodge by way of teleport out of the way of the gadget, far to the edge of the sparring arena and then tries to get both Ekko and the gadget in his field of vision to watch for what happens.]

[He needs seven second before he can throw the magic gear again, but it's not as though Doku knows the timing on his abilities.

It takes three seconds before whatever he threw into the air seems to 'detonate' giving him a shield. Everything not Ekko in the area seems to have paused for a few seconds.]

Aww, running away?

Like hell!

[He calls back from his little safe zone.]

Analyzing the situation, of course.

[Unfortunately for him, he can't hardly notice that Ekko did anything at all to the area around him. He thinks they're both waiting now, to see who'll blink first.]

Clever.

[He stays exactly where he is, watching Doku closely.

7 seconds since Phase Dive, 5 since Timewinder, 5 since Parallel Convergence. It's two more second until he has his attack spells again, and Chronobreak is still available...

He's content to make Doku wait.]

Eh, sometimes.

[Doku starts walking back into Ekko's area of effect, not realizing what he's getting himself into.

On the other hand, the two seconds could be up as he starts walking too.

He's looking for some kind of 'prep' motion from Ekko as a signal to teleport behind him and try to sweep with his staff against the back of Ekko's knees.]

[Two seconds is longer than it sounds. The bubble and shield disappear even faster than they came down.

Ekko dashes forward and in the process gets hit in his knees- sending him stumbling- Or it would if he didn't turn a dial on his wrist--

Ekko disappears for a moment, only to end up where he started with a burst of energy a few feet across. Slightly in front of Doku and throwing the boomerang gear forward.]

Better duck!

SHIT!

[Doku falls flat onto the ground, but recognizes that this is a pretty damn vulnerable position, so he tries teleporting again - this time into an upright position back towards the edge of the mat again.]

Well that's useful.

[chronobreak]

[Luckily for him Ekko's Timewinder is still traveling forward before snapping back to his current position. 68 seconds before he can Chronobreak again.

Doku doesn't know that, but Ekko's keeping careful track of all his cooldowns.]

Right? It's come in handy more times than I can count.

[Lies, he's been counting.]

I'll bet!

[But Dokugakuji tries to teleport forward again and get some sword swings in, maybe knock Ekko off balance if not totally distract him from his efforts. Even if he connects, he's not keep track of Ekko's unknown powers. He's outmatched and that'll settle this fight in another couple of seconds.]

[chronobreak]

[Doku gets a hit in but it's not quite enough to knock Ekko off balance.

As he's hit, he takes a swing going for Doku's side.]

Wrap on my end

[Doku takes the hit and goes down.]

Ngh!

[Of course this is towards the end of his day, so he holds up his hand.]

Yield, you got me - phew! Nice one!

[And he's gonna be heading for the food break area to rest before heading back to his temple - with a solid opinion of Ekko.]
