Summary: Training sessions for everyone to learn more about their abilities and jobs!



Many people have been wanting to know more about their abilities and what they are required to do here in the Far Shore. So, in conjunction with Bishamonten, the Heavens have seen fit to offer an open training session for everyone to participate in. Here you will be able to learn anything and everything about what you should be able to do and what is expected of you in your new positions.

Bishamon's temple is sweeping and gorgeous, having previously been home to hundreds of shinki. She has graciously offered to hold this training session and will be available to help anyone who needs it.



Equipment

Various kinds of mannequins and dummies have been provided for practice, as well as targets that are either stationary or move, depending on your will. Punching bags, jumping blocks, and a large pool area have also been provided for your use, so that you can find a tool for pretty much anything that you might need to practice. Plenty of practice weapons of various weights, sizes, and shapes are also available upon request from any of the many white-clad shinki that are also attending today.

God Training

Bishamon herself will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of you. It is also encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Shinki Training

Various shinki are available to help with shinki training, including Kazuma and all of Bishamon's shinki. Additionally, the white-clad shinki will be more than happy to train you on using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is also encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies. Random groupings can be provided by the mods or you may come up with your own groupings together.

Refreshments

There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're even just taking a quick break to cool down. The Heavens want you to stay in good condition!

It's only fair. He showed me his power already anyway and while he says it's enough to protect us both, I want to know how I can help. I'm scared, but kinda curious.

Of course it is. [ He digs out his phone from his pants and flips through the photos to find the one he's looking for. There's a lot of pictures in there. ]

It would only be fair if he helped you figure out yours too. I'd help you with that if I could but only your god can do that. [ He can help her learn how to fight but not with the vessel form and the powers. (Oh, he found the picture.) ] I don't think you need to be scared, it'll be fine.

Here. [ He offers her the phone to show the picture of a mongoose. ]

[She doesn't reply to that. She knows that's what it must be done, but it will be hard to convince Zeno to figure it out with her. At least he seems willing to do prayers soon, so if Kaya was determined to do one, will he start going along with everything else, like powers and vessels?

She takes the phone and checks the photo out. She immediately leaves out a squeal.]

Oh my gosh, it's so cute! Look at its nose and its tiny ears! Eeeeeeeh!

[She then remembers this is supposed to be how D2 looks like in his vessel form, and that she's not supposed to react like that. Even if it's adorable, he's bummed about his lack of usefulness. She blushes.]

I-I'm sorry! I kinda forgot for a minute.

[ Surely he would, right? Kaya is cute and pure, so who could deny her things. But if she needed it, D2 would always be willing to help her convince Zeno.

He smiles at her reaction (and in reality “it” is him but it’s not like he’s the type of person to read into things or let it get in and over his head. ]

Oh, you have nothing to be sorry about. I think it’s pretty cute, too.

[ Feeling useless about it aside, he does agree with her. ]

[She returns the phone, relieved that he's not offended.] Maybe you can distract your enemy with your round eyes! Then your god or you can punch them in the face and win.

[Nevermind that things wouldn't be that easy. Even the snake ayakashi seems more plausible.]

[ It’s not like she was aiming to offend, right? And D2 isn’t that easily offended.

He chuckles, as he pockets the phone again. ] You think that’d work? It sounds like an interesting strategy.

[ It wouldn’t work, but it’s an amusing thought.
