[Ayumu steps aside so Satoshi can handle the daughter. Instead, she busies herself with checking on the mother who seems to be resting in the bed.

The daughter seems to be listening to Satoshi, her confusion giving way to thoughtfulness. After a moment, she nods.]

I won't give up, then. I'll keep trying.

[The daughter nods again, mustering a wan smile.]

Thank you.

[After a few minutes, Ayumu turns to Satoshi.]

We should let them rest and be on our way.
