"It's worth a shot." That would be the nice way for it to turn out. But there's a note of skepticism in her voice that's wrought from how often Shepard is used to plans turning out any way but the nice one. If she were being honest, she prefers to skip the attempt altogether if they've got nothing to lose from it. It's not like anyone's dying from a broken heart.

But it's a new day, a new life, full of as much uncertainty as there are clouds in the sky and she's willing to give it a new chance, just one, if only to say she tried.
