Well, Hibari was considerably more pleased that Hakkai was fighting back, but for some reason, he really didn't feel into it. It was a very foreign sensation, one Hibari was pretty sure he'd never felt before, and it was enough to make him pause and Hakkai's blow to hit his shoulder.

He took it pretty well, only being pushed back a couple steps and welcomed the stinging pain. However, when he looked at Hakkai's eyes again, he felt no flicker of irritation, or a will really to keep going. "You're not the one."
