Now it's nothing but flowers
Who: Tot (and the omnipresent Jay) and Crawford
What: Oh, snark. Definitely snark.
When: The world temple tour, way back at the end of June
Where: Crete, Greece
Warnings: Will update
Jay isn't sure how he feels about this whole situation.
Crete is lovely, he can't deny that. The sea is a clear blue-green like a giant puya blossom, the cities a pleasing mix of ancient whitewashed plaster and brilliant, tourist-attracting neon. Like insects the tourists swarm the marketplaces, the beaches, the high vistas, gathering to themselves the brightest and sweetest morsels, buzzing happily as they report their finds to their companions. No, Crete is a good place, and a suitable destination for the glory that he is honored to serve.
But there's another Antheia here, and that is a concept he's been having some trouble wrapping his head around. Tot prefers to be addressed as Tot, sure, but the idea of another laying claim to any of her names still sits poorly with him. He'll have many questions for this local god, he thinks, following Tot through a quieter end of the weekend market. Many pointed questions.
