Just get out of the way!” he cries, quickly getting off of Taro’s case to rush for the old man, perhaps even shoving Add out of the way if he doesn’t get away fast enough. “Cardiac arrest” is one of those aggravatingly modern terms that he’s since come to understand better with all the medical textbooks he’d borrowed from Tenpou ages ago; hence, the rest of Add’s chatter doesn’t seem to register with him at the moment.

Then he kneels over Yamada and begins reciting his healing spells, outright praying to some other god out there that he’ll be okay, no thanks to his god.
