[First order of business had been reading the pamphlet-- twice over, in fact. It had taken at least two reads through for most of the information to sink in, especially considering how ludicrous it had seemed at first. That said, it wasn't as though he had any better explanation for what was happening, and not being able to remember anything that came before meant he wasn't exactly in any position to question what he was being told-- beyond a certain point.

He exhales slowly, closing the pamphlet and tossing it aside carelessly.]

I have to say, for being dead, I look incredible.

[No, he hasn't found a mirror since his arrival. He just knows-- though there may have been a little reinforcement from an obliging pond.]

[Even without his memories, this part feels familiar. Jae-Ha tries his hand at a number of the weapons available, picking them up and testing their weight, giving swords and staves alike an experimental swing, but it's only when he comes across the variety of daggers on display that his interest appears to be caught.

Letting out a soft hmm, he takes hold of a ring dagger and gives it a twirl around his index finger-- before taking aim at the opposite wall and throwing it, aiming for a knothole in one of the wooden supports. It lands, and it feels good, natural, even if he can't explain why.]

Perfect.

[After several rounds of training and trying his luck with a number of different weapons, Jae-Ha makes his way to the garden, helping himself to a drink and a towel along the way. Sitting on a bench amid the flowers, he delicately mops some of the sweat from his forehead before setting the towel aside, using his fingers to set his hair to rights so that it drapes just so across his face, the bulk of it still tied back with a bright ribbon.]

Circumstances being what they are, I'll give this place some credit. The gardens are beautiful.
