Perhaps if we planned to take widespread, public action. At the moment, I'm still more interested in gathering information. If I can prove myself trustworthy, I'm more likely to get the information I need to discover who brought us here and if there's a way to undo what they've done.

Involving myself in an organized secret society isn't very conducive to the plan.
