May Training
Who: Everyone
What: Information and Training
When: July 15
Where: Bishamon's temple, the Far Shore
Summary: Training and informational sessions for newly arrived gods (although there's none this time) and shinki

The product of many meetings and recommendations, at last it has taken shape. On this day, in anticipation of the new arrivals who appear in a recognized pattern, Heaven has partnered with the new gods and shinki to organize a very helpful informational reception.
The shinki arriving at heaven's meeting hall are, should they allow it, guided kindly towards Bishamon's temple. And in that vast complex they are brought to a traditional-style dojo.
Here the newly arrived gods are gathered, so finding their partner is more simple. The gods and shinki are free to take their time during this day to learn about the aspects of their new life from Amaterasu's shinki, or from the many veteran new god and shinki volunteers.

God Training
Shinki Training
Physical Training

- Bishamon herself, as well as Amaterasu's ever-present shinki and any volunteering gods, will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of them, such as prayers. It is encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies.
Newly arrived gods are still expected to communicate to their shinki the information* they themselves get oriented with when they arrive.
Shinki Training
- Various volunteers are stationed around the building, passing out helpful informational pamphlets. There are many shinki, including Bishamon's and Amaterasu's, who will be more than happy to train in using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies.
Bishamon's lead shinki Kazuma offers a lecture to new arrivals that will thoroughly cover some essential points about teamwork with both shinki and other gods.
Physical Training
- The dojo is stocked with a wide variety of practice weapons, traditional and modern. There are volunteers here as well, willing to assist in basic training. (Or even more advanced sparring, depending on the volunteer.) Essential for gods who, for example, find themselves with a sword shinki but are at risk of cutting off their own toes.
Also useful for veteran new gods wishing to train with their current partner shinki.
Rest and Refreshments
- There is a garden off the dojo that is free to be used for rest and conversation.
Should anyone wander outside the designated area, some shinki of Bishamon's will attach themselves to them and not leave them be until they return to the dojo.
There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're just taking a quick break to cool down. Even hand towels are provided by Bishamon's helpful shinki. The Heavens wants everyone to stay in good condition!

In Summary:
- Get all the information you can handle
- Veteran new gods and shinki are welcome to volunteer showing the ropes
- Get in some training
- Don't get dehydrated
- Spectate if you want
- Have fun~

That's what your eyes are for.
[She picks herself up and dusts off her clothes. Maybe that was a little harsh..and he did try to help. No, it was his fault in the first place. That could have actually hit her.]
no subject
Are you training too?
no subject
Sort....of. I did a little bit.
no subject
[ Hey, they have something in common. Goku was worried at first that maybe the girl was gonna be mad at him, but maybe she's just having a bad day. ]
Didja make a line?
no subject
I did, actually. Without getting anyone hurt.
[Well, maybe her pride took a bit of a blow but he didn't need to know that.]
no subject
Cool! So you must be pretty good at it.
[ Goku thinks that if ayakashis really are bad monsters, maybe they should clobber them instead of drawing lines on them, but he probably needs to see one for himself to make sure. ]
Have you ever fought one before? One of those monster things, I mean.
no subject
yeah...just earlier actually. That's how I learned.
[The image of the monster still made her shudder. It wasn't just how it looked, but the dishusting feeling it gave her]
no subject
Was it scary?
no subject
It was...just gross.
[She rubbed her at her arms. It's not like Chinatsu could tell him that she ran behind a tree and was screaming to the high heavens.]
...But I guess it helped in getting me to create a line. It pushes you to make it.
no subject
[ Did she see guts? Guts can be gross. But kind of interesting, too. Goku's not sure he's ever seen them before, but he can imagine. ]
no subject
[She hold out her hands, giving an estimate of the size]
And it has eyes all down it's back... And it made this terrible screeching noise.
[She could still hear it.]
Just being around them makes you want to throw up. There's just something about their energy that's...nauseating.
no subject
[ Eyeballs on a giant rat! That does sound gross. Not cool at all, like guts. But Goku thinks being nauseated must be the worst bit. He's a great believer in food, after all. Throwing it up would just be sad. ]
Did the line help? Did you kill it?
no subject
It kept it away from me, yeah, but it didn't kill it. I didn't anyway...
[It's not like she knew how to yet. Nor did she really want to.]
Hey, have you met your god already?
no subject
Goku shakes his head at her question. ]
Not yet, but I'm real curious about them! What about you?
IM SORRY I THOUGHT I TAGGED BACK!!
[If there were any that looked worse than that, she wasn't looking ofrwars to seeing them]
It does make me want to know how to fight them off though...How are you so excited about this?
no worries! In fact, so sorry for my own terrible delay! :(
[ He knows he can eat. And he can make friends. But at the end of the day, he should be able to fight. That's what they're here for, right? He can materialize a staff and everything. Of course that has to mean he can fight. ]
I thought we were all supposed to be able to.
don't worry about it!!
[And that makes her pretty much useless...]
no subject
An' if it doesn't, you can always re-learn!
no subject
You sure are optimistic, huh?
no subject
I dunno about optimistic. I just think it's true. If you practice, it means you'll get better. Right?
