Summary: Training and informational sessions for newly arrived gods (although there's none this time) and shinki



The product of many meetings and recommendations, at last it has taken shape. On this day, in anticipation of the new arrivals who appear in a recognized pattern, Heaven has partnered with the new gods and shinki to organize a very helpful informational reception.

The shinki arriving at heaven's meeting hall are, should they allow it, guided kindly towards Bishamon's temple. And in that vast complex they are brought to a traditional-style dojo.
Here the newly arrived gods are gathered, so finding their partner is more simple. The gods and shinki are free to take their time during this day to learn about the aspects of their new life from Amaterasu's shinki, or from the many veteran new god and shinki volunteers.




God Training

Bishamon herself, as well as Amaterasu's ever-present shinki and any volunteering gods, will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of them, such as prayers. It is encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies.
Newly arrived gods are still expected to communicate to their shinki the information* they themselves get oriented with when they arrive.

Shinki Training

Various volunteers are stationed around the building, passing out helpful informational pamphlets. There are many shinki, including Bishamon's and Amaterasu's, who will be more than happy to train in using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies.
Bishamon's lead shinki Kazuma offers a lecture to new arrivals that will thoroughly cover some essential points about teamwork with both shinki and other gods.

Physical Training

The dojo is stocked with a wide variety of practice weapons, traditional and modern. There are volunteers here as well, willing to assist in basic training. (Or even more advanced sparring, depending on the volunteer.) Essential for gods who, for example, find themselves with a sword shinki but are at risk of cutting off their own toes.
Also useful for veteran new gods wishing to train with their current partner shinki.

Rest and Refreshments

There is a garden off the dojo that is free to be used for rest and conversation.
Should anyone wander outside the designated area, some shinki of Bishamon's will attach themselves to them and not leave them be until they return to the dojo.

There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're just taking a quick break to cool down. Even hand towels are provided by Bishamon's helpful shinki. The Heavens wants everyone to stay in good condition!

[ Unfortunately, Yata's already fallen into those hands, even if it had been unwillingly. It has him even more anxious for the protection a decent god and a name offers. Even if Schuldig would have forced a name on him regardless, having a god in his corner if he tried again was a security he hoped he could fall back on to keep it from happening again.

Still, he stands there tense with anticipation as Tsuna states the words that will give him his name, jolting a little when the kanji writes itself against the side of his throat. He lifts a hand, rubbing at it in surprise a moment before grinning at his new god. ]

It wasn't. Teiki, huh? I like it.

[Tsuna is unaware of the fact that some other god had already forced a name on Yata. Though if his shinki ever wants to confide in him, he'll be a listening ear and maybe ensure that such a thing wouldn't happen under his watch, if he could help it.

But for now, he watches as Yata clutches his neck, the place where the kanji is written. Tsuna wonders if it hurts, but the other doesn't show any signs of discomfort. Yata seems to be very agreeable to the name he choose, even if it's the first thing that comes to Tsuna.

He smiles, happy that his shinki likes his name.]

You do? I'm glad!

[ Now that the name is out of the way,Tsuna is a little curious to see what
vessel form Misaki might take. The idea of a human being transforming into something else, still unnerves him. Though he couldn't help wondering about it either. It seems like an opportune time to try out Yata's name since Bishamon has set up this training program in order for new gods and shinki to get accustomed to their abilities.]

S-should we try it out,then? I-I mean to see how well we work together! Maybe we can solve some issues now before we get into a bind. My powers are a little...different as well.

[He's not sure how Yata feels about fire. Despite announcing himself as a fire god, he still wants to make sure his new shinki knows what he's getting himself into.]

[ The mention of different powers has Yata shifting uncomfortably a moment before he sighs, ducking his head. ]

Yeah, so about that... I should probably show you this now sooner than later, just so you know about it but...

[ He lifts his hand, fingers curling into a fist as he focuses. A moment later, the Red Aura wells up, flaring into visibility around his hand, red flames licking partway up his arms although he's very obviously not being burned by it.

He flicks an uncertain glance over at his new god, a little nervous about his reaction. ] You're not the only one with different powers. I don't really know a lot about it, but.... I've been practicing to control it since I got here. I think I've mostly got the knack for it now. But I, uh, I'm not so good at doing the spells shinki are supposed to be learning. It's partially why I came here today. The first time I tried to cast a Borderline, I just sorta.... made a wall of fire instead.

[ There's a hint of frustration in his tone, because he still hasn't fixed that particular problem and he hopes his god won't think less of him for it. He's been trying to learn, it's just that the fire seems to come so easily for him and the shinki stuff.... not so much. ]

[Tsuna doesn't know what to expect especially when Yata's body language seems as if he's apprehensive of showing Tsuna. Is his power something to be ashamed of? So he watches as Yata is able to engulf part of his arm in Red Aura. However to Tsuna it looks like something from his world. Storm flames are the same crimson and has a similar characteristics to Yata's power.]

That's really cool, Yata! I never saw someone handle those kind of flames with their bare hands before...not even I can do that!

[As for his inability to do a proper borderline, Tsuna doesn't seem at all disappointed. Especially if it seems as if Yata is trying really hard. He gives the other a reassuring look.]

I'm sure you'll get it eventually, but a wall of fire seems really useful too. You have to show me later, okay?

[ Though he isn't going to allow Yata to be the only one to show his abilities. Tsuna shyly digs into his pockets to pull out a pair of wool looking mittens with the number '27' knitted on them. He hopes Yata doesn't laugh at him, Tsuna already knows it looks weird. He puts them over his hands, one of which has two very distinct rings on his fingers. Then Tsuna forces himself into Hyper Dying Will mode.

An orange flame igniting on his forehead, and his large brown eyes burn an ardent orange hue, similar to fire. Those dorky looking mittens transform into flaming red gauntlets. Just for emphasis, he makes orange flames engulf both gloves. From where Yata is standing he can feel the warmth his flames are emitting.]

It looks like we have similar powers.

[ Another person with fire powers! Yata's mouth drops open in surprise for a moment before he punches his fist into the air in delight. ]

Oh, hell yeah! That's really cool! [ It's obvious he's thrilled to find anyone with powers similar to his. Although his immediate thought afterwards is how similar? ]

Oh, hey. This might sound like a weird question but... Do you have one of these? [ Yata yanks his collar aside to reveal the strange brand on his collarbone, the one he's become more and more convinced has to do with his fire. Tsuna's a god, it's not like he would have forgotten about something like that, right? ]

[It is a weird question, though Tsuna's face doesn't show it. There's a more serious and confident air about him once he activates his flames. He looks at Misaki's brand as the shinki uncovers it from under his shirt, but no recognition appears in his eyes. He's never seen such a thing before, and Tsuna knows a few people in the mafia who have flame tattoos, but it's nothing like that.

Still he gets an impression that this symbol is very important to Yata, not merely for his powers,but a sense of unity too. He frowns as he gets a glimpse of Yata's past. The bond of HOMRA, and the Red King. It's kind of similar to the Vongola family in a way.

Tsuna slowly shakes his head.]

No. The only symbol that means anything to me is this one...[Tsuna ceases the fire engulfing one of his gloves. Lifting his fist up within Yata's eyes level, so he could see the emblem on it.

He smiles gently at Yata.] Even though they are different, I sense that they both are important in the same way. This crest means that we are family, and that I will do anything in my power to protect them.

[ Yata lets his Aura fade as he leans forward to take in the crest Tsuna shows him, eyeing it curiously, although he's pretty sure he hasn't seen that one around here, either.

What Tsuna says about it, though.... That catches his attention. He flicks his gaze to his god's face, wondering if this is a similar theme. ]

Is that what things like this usually mean?

From what I know. If people have a similar symbol maybe they believe in the same cause. I'm sure it's to unify people, at least that's what I can gather from mine.

[Though Tsuna feels as if they shouldn't dwell on the subject, deciding to change the subject.]

So, Yata are you going to show me what you can do? I'll like to see that wall of fire of yours.

To unify people, huh?

[ It was something to think about, even if he was skating around the topic carefully, not wanting to dwell too far past the surface idea of it. Anytime he did, he felt sick and weird and he'd quickly learned to avoid that.

He blinks at the change of subject and then grins widely, eager and anticipating. ]

Heh. Sure. But you might wanna step back. [ Although his control is getting good enough to the point that he's pretty certain he can make his Aura do exactly what he wants it to do and not risk injuring his new god at all.

Which is why he takes a moment to focus, letting that now-familiar fire well up in him, swirling around him almost like a barrier of flame before he makes the symbol he'd been trying to learn Borderlines with. Except without the spell to go without it, because he knew focusing in this particular way wouldn't give him one anyway.

Which was true, since a moment later, a high wall of flames sprung up beside the pair of them, separating Tsuna and Yata from the rest of the training yard. ]

It's not a Borderline, but...

[ Tsuna does take a step back, but he's confident that the shinki would not purposely hurt him. And even if his power did go out of control, Tsuna could defrend himself against it easily.

He watches Yata as the red aura surrounds him, and a moment later a wall of fire creates a divide between them and the other side of the field. It's pretty impressive and high. He turns to Yata and smiles.]

It looks just as cool as I thought it would. It can still give Ayakashi trouble, even if it doesn't hold them back for long.

[Tsuna then gets into position, holding his hands in front of him and making a symbol with them. The flame on his forehead as well as the fire surrounding his gloves starts to flicker in and out. Slowly Tsuna sucks the fire wall into his small body. Once he's absorbed all of Misaki's fire, Tsuna's flames only grew in size and burns even more intensely.

He turns to Yata, genuinely curious.]

How else can you use that fire of yours?

Whoa! Did you just... absorb it?

[ That's a thing that can happen? He stares, stunned for a moment before grinning. ]

Dude. That's cool.

[ The question gets a small, sheepish shrug, though. ] I'm still trying to figure most of that out. But I can use it for speed. So could my last god. Ahh, I use it for this. [ He motions to his skateboard, left nearby. ]
