Though there’s a lot of information to process, he can easily sort it into categories and begin piecing various parts together like a puzzle. And because he wants to become used to this place and his responsibilities as soon as possible, setting out to track the masked ayakashi is a welcome task.
He hasn’t forgotten what he’s learned about the masks, that they apparently are capable of controlling ayakashi and are associated with two things in particular: demon summonings coinciding with the appearance of new gods and an enemy of the Heavens known as the Sorcerer. Tenjoin had himself mentioned something about being a mask as well, but Reisi had decided against pursuing that line of questioning for the time being. At any rate, there’s only been one instance wherein the masks had been fake, though it seems the true source of those is as of yet unconfirmed.
