It's not exactly a wide pool, but for Shun, it's enough to just have allies - and he has a much larger amount of those who haven't quite reached the point of him considering them a friend yet.

It is at least nice to see that the bird is enjoying herself, and he notes how receptive she's being to the attention. He'd always preferred to keep his shows of affection there minimal, since he doesn't consider the vultures pets, but he supposes he shouldn't be surprised the one Joker hand-raised would be more accepting of that sort of thing. She was hand-raised, so she's more even-tempered than the others. I didn't realise it was this much, though.
