Ren hisses lightly at the sudden onslaught of claws and also leans even more against Shun in an unconscious effort to get away from them. [Somehow, he isn't surprised Shun would be more concerned about the others than himself, even though he's definitely been affected by it too. That lack of concern for himself isn't something he's going to get over overnight, if ever. But his acknowledgement that he needed a hug too--and that he was having trouble sleeping and could use some company--is a good start and more than enough progress for Ren right now.]
