[ It was meant to be an honest mistake, explaining the situation and shuffling all of the new gods and shinki over to Bishamon's temple. They say to not shoot the messenger, but the blue-haired teen was certainly shooting this one down with her words. Botan had no trouble giving a piece of her mind to the poor representive as all of the shinki were being led over to that second location. ]
New department or agency aside, how do you just let this kind of thing slip through your fingers? Do you not communicate with each other? Whose bright idea was it to just make that kind of assumption and let it lie? Really, if I wasn't so sure that there'd be a storm of complaints already, I'd insist on having a word with the supervisor.
[ She normally wasn't such a coarse person, but this just spoke against all kinds of professionalism and responsibility. It's left her with quite a tiff. Two seconds into being dead and she's already challenging her elders. ]
B. Shinki Training
[ Oh good. Pamphlets. Really, despite the indignation of the mixup earlier, it's honestly nice to see some kind of help in making sure all of them were starting off on the right foot. Well, save for the part where it said 'wait and your god will find you.' It couldn't be helped at this point, but that sure was a hiccup.
Still, there was quite a trove of information. From numbers, which were promptly added to her phone, to things about having names forced upon shinki and what they could actually do. After watching a demonstration, at first the teen held her hand in a loose gun 'pose,' staring at it for a few seconds before extending the middle finger to finish the hand position. As Botan goes to make the swiping gesture, calling out line, there was something in her instincts that said something else was going to happen. Her hand adjusts just in time as a long wooden oar appeared in hand.
Accidentally swinging at whomever was unlucky enough to be within range. It was at about that point when a very important piece of information was explained by a shinki instructing another nearby. Which left the girl feeling very sheepish. ]
Oh, so sorry! I suppose I should listen to all of the directions before just trying things out. You're not hurt, are you?
[ If she knew that she had to be Named by the god that she didn't know the assignment of before casting borderlines, she might have held off on practicing. ]
C. Rest and Refreshments
[ There really wasn't anything unusual. If this was the time to relax and refill your reserves on drink and snacks, then so be it. With a can of juice, the girl was contentedly and casually taking sips. Just. While sitting on a wooden oar that was floating about five feet in the air.
Of course, one could only hold off on their curiosity for so long. As pink eyes 'discreetly' scanned across towards people, those sensitive or paranoid enough might get the feeling of being prodded at in some manner. Not to the point of crossing barriers, but to get a feel and impression for things and the people that were around. ]
D. A Late Assignment
'Upon arrival, each shinki is assigned to a god. Wait and they'll find you.'
[ She repeated the second line of the brochure, word for word, as the day seemed to be ready to come to a close. There were some things that couldn't be practiced or learned until this happened, which meant that the only thing left seemed to be to wait. Leaving the girl in the pink kimono waiting on the stone steps, looking through the boards and everything else that could be accessed from the provided phone.
In the other hand, the wooden oar kept popping in and out of 'existence,' so to speak. ]
This whole phone thing really has gotten more involved from how I knew it...
