[Closed] A Gathering of Thieves
Who: The Phantom Thieves and their Shinki
What: Information Sharing.
Where: The Far Shore, the Park
When: July 26th, Late Afternoon
Summary: 3 new gods arrive to find that 2 of their closest friends are dead, and they are responsible
for two other people as well. A talk is needed.
Warnings: Major Persona 5 Spoilers in comments, also probably language.
[Arriving here with little warning had been jarring enough, but when the Phantom Thieves realized that they weren't alone, and that two of their number had no memories, it was time to confer somewhere. Temples and the like had felt a little raw, and not wanting to stray too far from the Far Shore until they had their bearings, the group had gathered in the park. Akira, Ann, Futaba, Makoto, and Ryuji, along with the shinki that had unwittingly become part of their circle, all standing around in a small clearing, talking. It should've been a positive occasion, but there was no denying the shroud that hung over the group. There was a lot to talk about, and things that needed to be agreed upon.
The question was...how to even start?]

crawls back to inbox finally
Still, he's ill at ease with some of the ones that claimed to know him in life, but over the course of the afternoon Akira has taken steps to be less completely pissed that they get to remember these things and he doesn't. It's part of the set up, yeah, and maybe it was Akira's fault for being dumb enough to die.
But part of him wants to hear the guy out since he seems more susceptible to spilling. Makoto is too guarded and Meganekko seems terrified of him. He might be able to get along with Ryuji, leaning back and rolling his shoulders. ]
Wish I had a proper set up, sorry. Not that I remember why I know how to make fancier coffee. It's kinda creepy, having all this very specific muscle memory.

[Ryuji slumps with an awkward but gentle laugh, almost a little too casually given the amount of tension still in the air, across from Akira and watches with a keen interest. It's still weird to him - that how to brew a cup of coffee the same way he had done at Leblanc comes more easily to Akira than the name or the face of a friend. Reminding him of how he knows, of Sojiro and Leblanc, isn't even allowed... so he has no choice but to skirt around the topic.
The awareness that Ryuji does know definitely doesn't help, either.]
Hey, uh... sorry 'bout earlier. For freakin' out at you or whatever.

Maybe he should be relieved that he's so quick to move past it. Deserving of some of the same, anyway, even if Akira's slow to meet his eyes. ]
It's fine. I was pissed too, so. Also sorry.
And you and Makoto obviously know each other, so maybe there's some unspoken shinki rule about being nice to your god's friends that I should be following.
[ Please laugh, please laugh. ]
