It depends on the person. Some people are still happy to make friends with people whose philosophies disagree with theirs, but some won't be. [It's hard to know before trying, but that circles back around to the original problem of being too open in her attempts to befriend people.]

If you're asking about me personally, it takes me a long time to call anyone a friend, but if I come to trust them that much then what they believe isn't really a problem anymore.

[If it was something he aggressively disagreed with, chances are he wouldn't have let them get to that level of trust in the first place.]
