Summary: Training and informational sessions for newly arrived gods (although there's none this time) and shinki



The product of many meetings and recommendations, at last it has taken shape. On this day, in anticipation of the new arrivals who appear in a recognized pattern, Heaven has partnered with the new gods and shinki to organize a very helpful informational reception.

The shinki arriving at heaven's meeting hall are, should they allow it, guided kindly towards Bishamon's temple. And in that vast complex they are brought to a traditional-style dojo.
Here the newly arrived gods are gathered, so finding their partner is more simple. The gods and shinki are free to take their time during this day to learn about the aspects of their new life from Amaterasu's shinki, or from the many veteran new god and shinki volunteers.




God Training

Bishamon herself, as well as Amaterasu's ever-present shinki and any volunteering gods, will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of them, such as prayers. It is encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies.
Newly arrived gods are still expected to communicate to their shinki the information* they themselves get oriented with when they arrive.

Shinki Training

Various volunteers are stationed around the building, passing out helpful informational pamphlets. There are many shinki, including Bishamon's and Amaterasu's, who will be more than happy to train in using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies.
Bishamon's lead shinki Kazuma offers a lecture to new arrivals that will thoroughly cover some essential points about teamwork with both shinki and other gods.

Physical Training

The dojo is stocked with a wide variety of practice weapons, traditional and modern. There are volunteers here as well, willing to assist in basic training. (Or even more advanced sparring, depending on the volunteer.) Essential for gods who, for example, find themselves with a sword shinki but are at risk of cutting off their own toes.
Also useful for veteran new gods wishing to train with their current partner shinki.

Rest and Refreshments

There is a garden off the dojo that is free to be used for rest and conversation.
Should anyone wander outside the designated area, some shinki of Bishamon's will attach themselves to them and not leave them be until they return to the dojo.

There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're just taking a quick break to cool down. Even hand towels are provided by Bishamon's helpful shinki. The Heavens wants everyone to stay in good condition!

[Seeing a white haired kid or perhaps young looking old guy get rained on was great in its own way. Having the unfortunate victim suddenly disappearing and then reappearing behind him? Hopefully Toushiro isn't too close, because being frightened tends to make Nari literally spark.]

Actually, there are 100% normal humans here. I ain't one, but they exist.

I never said there aren't normal humans, but I wouldn't exactly call them 'normal' either. [Normal is overrated.]

Ice isn't my specialty, but I was born knowing how to use and control it.

[See, this place is rife with powers... so it's okay to talk about them.] I'm best with growing plants because all that takes it water and heat manipulation and the right ratio for the plant that I'm trying to make grow.

Even if it isn't your speciality, it'd be good for you to be familiar with using it. Being able to see the limits you have with it can be good.

[Toushirou looks interested now, studying Nari closely.]

What exactly are your powers then?

I know how to not freeze people, and that's okay with me.

I'm an elementalist. I can use the elements and even manipulate them. Comes with the added boost of immunity from them. Can't get burned, can't freeze to death, hell, I can't even drown though I've tried to a few times.

That definitely piques his interest; however, he can't help but give Nari a look for trying to drown.]

That's quite a variety of powers. Not sure if trying to drown yourself was a good idea, though.

They're easiest to use if you understand the science behind the elements. Like how ice is technically water that is frozen by conditions such as lack of heat and adding a certain level of wind to it. Or how thunder is just extreme heat.

I was trying to see if my lungs would get filled and I'd drown.... but my body understood that there's oxygen in the water, so it was able to filter it in a way where I was literally breathing the water.

I'm a bit tempted to see how my ice works against your elements.

Eh. Wouldn't wanna test it against fire. I can make plasma happen, and ice ain't freezing that.

I don't think most people can do that here.

If your colleague is in my position and the only one of his kind in the world, then maybe I should be honored... and why would I try and see if I was resistant to acid?

They should be sturdier if they're gods at least. Teleportation would help.

He's not like you. He's not resistant but he is a scientist first than anything else. It doesn't stop him from performing experiments on himself if it makes him more durable to attacks. [Some strange expression masks his face.]

It's fine. I'll just heal you if you do. [Restoration powers come in handy with its healing properties.]
