Summary: Training and informational sessions for newly arrived gods (although there's none this time) and shinki



The product of many meetings and recommendations, at last it has taken shape. On this day, in anticipation of the new arrivals who appear in a recognized pattern, Heaven has partnered with the new gods and shinki to organize a very helpful informational reception.

The shinki arriving at heaven's meeting hall are, should they allow it, guided kindly towards Bishamon's temple. And in that vast complex they are brought to a traditional-style dojo.
Here the newly arrived gods are gathered, so finding their partner is more simple. The gods and shinki are free to take their time during this day to learn about the aspects of their new life from Amaterasu's shinki, or from the many veteran new god and shinki volunteers.




God Training

Bishamon herself, as well as Amaterasu's ever-present shinki and any volunteering gods, will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of them, such as prayers. It is encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies.
Newly arrived gods are still expected to communicate to their shinki the information* they themselves get oriented with when they arrive.

Shinki Training

Various volunteers are stationed around the building, passing out helpful informational pamphlets. There are many shinki, including Bishamon's and Amaterasu's, who will be more than happy to train in using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies.
Bishamon's lead shinki Kazuma offers a lecture to new arrivals that will thoroughly cover some essential points about teamwork with both shinki and other gods.

Physical Training

The dojo is stocked with a wide variety of practice weapons, traditional and modern. There are volunteers here as well, willing to assist in basic training. (Or even more advanced sparring, depending on the volunteer.) Essential for gods who, for example, find themselves with a sword shinki but are at risk of cutting off their own toes.
Also useful for veteran new gods wishing to train with their current partner shinki.

Rest and Refreshments

There is a garden off the dojo that is free to be used for rest and conversation.
Should anyone wander outside the designated area, some shinki of Bishamon's will attach themselves to them and not leave them be until they return to the dojo.

There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're just taking a quick break to cool down. Even hand towels are provided by Bishamon's helpful shinki. The Heavens wants everyone to stay in good condition!

[ Hibiki twitches her shoulders in a small but effortlessly elegant shrug. ] Divine duties called me away. It seems this world is incapable of properly entertaining itself.

[ A sigh. ] Well, as it lacks even a PriPara, I suppose that can't be helped.

[ SOMEONE IS BITTER ]

So it's up to you then eh?

[ If the costuming's anything to go by... But a pause. ]

Which god were you again, by the by...?

[priforprince]

Apollo.

[ She swipes a hand across her hat, leaving the illusion of a gleaming wreath of golden laurels atop the band. ] God of performance, at your service.

I believe this is the first we've had the pleasure of speaking in person, Baron Samedi.

[ Prophecy god, remember. She builds goats knows everything. ]

Apollo, right! I've heard of you.

[ No need to let her know Shun doesn't think the best of her. ]

Yeah, prolly the first time we've met face to face. Kuroyuki's spoken of you though so the name isn't unfamiliar, mind.

[priforprince]

Thank you for continuing to support her.

[ She's not even your shinki, Hibiki.

Her outfit jangles as she rests her hand back on her hip. ]

[diehardreaper]

[ Ah but you're her manager! He's more like her older brother, if anything. ]

S'nothing to thank me for, mind. She meant the world to my shinki so it'd be a disservice not to.

[ But before anything, he nudges the shy little shinki forward. ]

This is Noel, by the by. He's just joined up with me.

[ Noel is entranced by you natural sparkle, Apollo. ]

Oh? [ A glance at Noel with just the slightest charming twist to the corner of her mouth. This is still a serious conversation, but, well, one can't fail to please one's fans. ] They fill vacancies rather quickly.

[ And yet they let a murderer cause those - whatever. Thinking about stupidity will just give her a headache, and then she won't be able to achieve her goal at this gathering. ]

Surprisingly. Though to be honest, I hadn't thought they'd get me set up this quickly. Went without a shinki for a bit, I did.

[ Noel is taking as well as a magpie does to the sparkling. Hibiki has earned herself another fan apparently. ]

How're you'n your lot faring?

[priforprince]

[ Hibiki sniffs. ] My household is impeccable.

[ Her household is a small child. ]

[diehardreaper]

Course it is! Wouldn't imply otherwise!

[ Incidentally so is his household now... ]

What've you been keeping yourself busy with then? Can't say I've ever seen you wearing that before.

[priforprince]

[ Ah, he missed the announcement. Hibiki runs a finger along the brim of her hat. ] Fulfilling my godly duties. Presently, I'm cast in a Near Shore film....

[ This is totally how you performance god. Totally. ]

[diehardreaper]

[ Look he hasn't been on the network much recently. ]

S'that right? Good to know they've managed to notice you long enough to film you!

[ He's honestly awed, too. ]

[priforprince]

It was inevitable.

[ Her tone says modesty but her pose and her words say narcissism. ]

[diehardreaper]

[ That word. ]


Course m'sure they'll likely figure they're in the presence of a god if they haven't already, eh?

[ Hime, you definitely have a knack for finding the narcissistic types, dontcha? ]

[priforprince]

[ Of course she does. Genius resounds with genius, and draws them together. ]

As long as my performance satisfies beyond imagination, they're welcome to think whatever they wish.

[ She shifts her weight from one leg to the other. A badge hidden beneath her vest gleams.

She's playing the sheriff. ]

[ Or she could just be a sparkle magnet... ]

When's the film coming out then? Or are we to count on you letting us know?

I'll keep the Far Shore informed.

[ She'd have more clout about that sort of thing back home, but here? She's at the mercy of the movie's production company. If they end up getting stuck in the cutting process, or something strange goes on with promotion, who knows.

She is, however, not foreseeing any difficulties. This film has been blessed by the god of movies. ]

It's bound to be shortlisted for the Parademy Awards, so it should be an excellent opportunity for everyone to experience top-class culture.
