"Oh?"

There's something about the way that the Medicine Seller looks at people that tends to make them feel rather exposed, at times. In spite of his slow, calm, patient mannerisms, his eyes have a peculiar, methodical sort of intensity to them. He's quiet for a beat or two too long, and then smiles just a fraction of an inch wider.

"If it pleases you, then... you might render your payment later."
